At Sam Sharpe Square, visitors also have the opportunity to explore the Museum, which houses artifacts and photographs from bygone eras.
- St James Parish Church - This historic eighteenth-century Anglican Church, constructed in 1774 and still in use today, will be highlighted by the tour guide. It is located on “Church Street,” a name inspired by the iconic Parish Church.
- Mount Salem - Visitors will journey to the Mount Salem community, where they will pass by the Cornwall Regional Hospital, which provides urgent medical care to the entire western region of Jamaica.
As they travel through Mount Salem, visitors will gain insight into the lives of low-income residents. The journey will also lead to the neighboring community of Catherine Mount, where visitors can observe the lifestyle of the middle class. The tour will then proceed to another nearby community, Westgate Hills, where the upper class resides. Finally, there will be a stop at a local fruit vendor, offering visitors the chance to sample exotic local fruits.
