• Rose Hall Great House - The Rose Hall Haunted Mansion is an early 18th-century plantation home perched on a high elevation, spanning thousands of acres in Rose Hall, Montego Bay. This mansion was once owned by Annie Palmer, known as the most notorious plantation owner in Jamaica. She owned hundreds of slaves and infamously killed three of her four husbands before being strangled by the fourth. After her violent death in 1831, the mansion became haunted. Explore the dramatic history of the Rose Hall Haunted House as you enter the realm of the White Witch, who roams freely through the mansion. Experience the nighttime chills, eerie shivers, ghostly sounds of creaking floorboards, and even the presence of ghostly shadows. Her piercing eyes in the portraits seem to follow you around. This tour is not for the faint-hearted. Visit the rooms where she committed her gruesome acts, the dungeons, and her tomb where her body rests. The house is intimidating even in daylight.
• Greenwood Great House - The Greenwood Great House, a plantation home, was built in the early 18th century. Like many other Great Houses in Jamaica, it was constructed at a high elevation, likely as a strategy during the plantation era for overseeing the plantation and security purposes. Unlike the Rose Hall Great House, this house is not haunted and offers a more peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The history and architecture of the house are truly impressive. Feel free to take photos as your tour guide slows down.
• Luminous Lagoon Glistening Waters - Glistening Waters in Falmouth is home to the rare wonder of the Luminous Lagoon adventure. Upon arrival on the terrace, a Glistening Waters Representative will warmly welcome you and guide you to the bar, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink of rum punch or fruit punch (your choice). You will also be briefly entertained with traditional Jamaican dance moves, a blend of African and British dance cultures (entertainment is temporarily suspended). At around 6:45 pm, you will board your boat (featuring low sides and outboard engines) for a one-hour adventure. Have your cameras ready to capture photos of the glowing fish as they swim by! It’s said that swimming in the water can make you look 10 years younger! Be sure to bring your swimsuits and towels if you wish to take a short swim. Your knowledgeable captain will share all the history, so feel free to engage.
