The tour features an easy and picturesque loop of approximately 36 km, primarily on well-maintained dirt roads and brief sections of provincial road, steering clear of the steepest paths.
Initial stops include the Church of San Biagio and a ride through cypress trees and vineyards along Via della Montagna, leading to a stunning viewpoint over the Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata.
The route then offers a scenic descent towards Monticchiello, featuring hairpin turns and rows of cypress trees, with a suggested stop in the village near La Guardiola.
The return journey traverses the Val d’Orcia once more, with optional stops at Podere Il Casale and Capitoni/Fabbrica wineries. Participants will pass by Poggiano, enjoying views of Montepulciano, and have the opportunity for a final stop at Caseificio Cugusi before concluding the tour.
