Love the Orca's - I have done the Whale Watching tour with Chris' Whale Watching tour a few times and this one topped the scales. I was hoping for Orcas and there are no guarantees they will be out there but they sure were. I am also glad that the Captain maintains a safe distance from the whales but close enough to see them. It is funny I saw a comment saying they could only see the backs of whales (not the fault of the tour, the person should take that up with the whales, lol). Captain Tinker, Kevin, his trainee and Chere were great. All very informative and helpful. Kevin was a lot of fun and interacted with the passengers throughout the trip. Chere (the photographer, Moms Whale Watching) had lots of great tips and information. The trip out had some good sized swells and made for a very adventurous trip, but all worth it to see the Orcas in their natural habitat. The ride back was super smooth and you couldn't ask for better weather (04/17/2026) not that every trip will be the same but to be out there is amazing no matter what you see. Thank you to Captain Tinker, Kevin, and Chere - thoroughly enjoyed the trip and thanks for making it memorable.

Day of whale watching in Monterey, CA - I had a wonderful time! Crew was informative and professional. We saw orcas which was amazing!

Orcas!! - Amazing experience. Orcas swam around the boat for about 20 minutes. It was unreal. Highly recommend.

So Many Orcas!! - This was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever experienced. The guys with Chris’ Fishing Trips were so knowledgeable and made us feel super safe. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful - Absolutely amazing. I have gone out several times with them. Today surpassed all!! Orca’s!!!!! Chris’s team is fabulous, the crew member was always checking to make sure everyone was doing well.

April 2025 whale watching - So much fun! Well of course, we saw whales! We tracked one or two Humpbacks. Our guide, captain and videographer were knowledgeable about Humpback’s behavior and shared their information. They made the trip fun and interesting for the younger kids.

Awesome 🤩 - Chris’s Whale watching it was the best trip ever. Kevin & his amazing Captain have us great experiences to see Baby Orcas & there Mama. It was so much fun . Kevin was so great and so kind to all of us. He even came around a few times to see if we needed anything . I can’t wait to come to see him again. Whales!!! - All the staff we encountered was very helpful, laid back, fun, and knowledgeable about the sea animals. We showed up 5 minutes past our original booked time, and they were kind enough to put us on the next tour. The tour itself was super fun, and our guide was very motivated and helpful when finding whales. We had a great show! We saw almost 10 humpback whales (And one full body flip!!) and numerous dol-friends :) Our guide was very sweet and talked to many passengers who were afraid of getting sea sick, offering them ginger chews, and getting paper towels without judgement for those that did end up getting sick. I would do this tour again if I were in the area!

Whale watching in Monterey Bay - The staff could not have been more pleasant & helpful.The whale watching itself is why I gave it a 3.We did see 4 whales but nothing more than their backs

The guide was great,... - The guide was great, awesome to see the whales and dolphins, but the boat seemed to be in the wrong position. It was whipping the people all over when we were stopped to see the whales. It felt more choppy when stopped, rather than when moving. Have been whale watching a few times and never had this issue with the boat.
