This village has remained remarkably preserved, as if untouched by time, despite being constructed by the Sienese between 1213 and 1219 for defensive purposes. The village commands a strategic position atop a hill overlooking the Via Cassia, allowing control over the Valdelsa territory. Guests can enjoy a free visit to Monteriggioni.
• Siena - Travel to Siena, renowned for the famous horse race, the Palio of Siena. Visitors will have free time to explore the shell-shaped central square, Piazza del Campo, featuring Palazzo Pubblico and Torre del Mangia, and to visit Siena Cathedral, a stunning example of Italian Romanesque–Gothic architecture (tickets are not included).

Continue to Pisa, and have time to admire the cathedral, the baptistery, the monumental cemetery, and the famous Leaning Tower, one of the most photographed landmarks of Italy. This is the last destination of the day, before returning to Florence around 8 pm.
