This experience transcends a transportation tour. You will explore a world-class cavern, gaining insights into the formation of stalactites and stalagmites. Learn about the history of the Sea of Tethys unearthing fossils dating back over 60 million years. To get to the cave you will use the recently restored cable-car (updated September 2024), enjoying magnificent views of limestone rock and the beautiful valley covered in diverse plants including Mesquite and Anacahuita, typical trees of Northeastern Mexico. Following the cave visit, indulge in delightful bread and ice cream in the picturesque town of Garcia, a traditional Northeastern Mexican gem.

We pickup in all accommodations within San Pedro, San Jerónimo, Obispado, and Macroplaza. If you are staying in a different location the meeting point is outside of Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Marco at downtown Monterrey (meeting point at the Dove Sculpture outside of the Museum).

I would give this tour 10 out of 5 if I could!!! - This tour was fantastic from start to finish. Our tour guide was Emmanuel and we really just felt like we were hanging out with a friend who was taking us to see the local sites. We were the only ones on the tour which really gave the personalized feel. Emmanuel was extremely knowledgeable. We felt very safe with him. We loved the caves and they are definitely a must see if traveling to Monterrey. We also visited the town of Garcia afterwards and really enjoyed this stop. It was great to visit a town pretty much untouched by tourism. We visited a local bakery where I was able to purchase the most delicious and fresh piece of cake. This went down well with the icecream too. Thank you so much, this really was a highlight of our trip!

Beyond expectations! The... - Beyond expectations! The cave was amazing, much better in person than described. Garcia could have a bit more to offer for a deeper experience.

Deme Tour: Attentive, Relaxed and Luxury - What a blast on tour! We were lucky enough that Deme was our guide at Garcia's Grottoes. The net, super cool and very attentive. It made us stay a little behind the big group to give us more time and explain ourselves calmly, which is very grateful.
It is rating that he is passionate about what he does and has a genuine love of nature. He was telling us interesting stories and facts about everything we asked. In addition, he even gave us cold bottles of water during the tour — a detail that felt luxurious in the heat it was.
I loved its calm and relaxed vibe. Thanks to him we were able to enjoy even more the stunning natural beauty of the caves.
If you have a chance to get to know Monterrey and its surroundings, don’t miss it! It's worth a lot.

What an unforgettable experience exploring the Grutas de Garcia Cave in Monterrey, Mexico! - The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the tour itself was nothing short of magical. I had the pleasure of being guided by Deme, who gave us a warm, personalized tour in English—such a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more meaningful. His passion for Mexico and the natural world is contagious and inspiring.
A special thanks as well to Jose, the incredibly patient and thoughtful owner of the tour company, who went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and well taken care of as a solo traveler. From lodging recommendations to local insights, everything was seamless.
Thank you, Deme and Jose, for making this trip so memorable. I’ll absolutely be back!

Knowledgeable and confident - I had extra time in Monterey and decided I needed to get out ! Emmanuel arrived right on time and was very knowledgeable about caves and city . I would defiantly recommend!

Grottos... - Something beautiful and not very usual to visit, we found since we arrived the.landscape.
Get ready to walk and climb stairs.

Perfect Afternoon at Grutas de García! - I had a fantastic experience visiting Grutas de García. The SUV was comfortable, and our guide was incredibly kind, professional, and a delight to converse with. Everything felt safe, well-organized, and clean, and the pickup was punctual. The caves themselves were absolutely stunning, making for a great sightseeing adventure.
To top it off, we visited a charming small town, where our guide even treated us. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-planned afternoon with great company and beautiful scenery.

Awesome Trip! - What a great experience. Polo was an amazing guide that I now called my friend. Leading up to the trip they were extremely on top of things communicating the details and was at our hotel 10 minutes before pick up. The drive out to the caves are about an hour but it went by so fast because the conversation with Polo was awesome. The car that he picked us up at was very roomy and clean and he had drinks on ice ready to go. The caves are stunning and we had a guide that walked us through everything and Polo translated into English during the tour. Took lots of pictures. We decided to skip the small town after the caves because we wanted to get back for a dinner reservation. The drive back was like a little party playing great music and just talking about life. This was very memorable for my wife and I and recommend this to everybody thinking about doing a tour in Monterrey.
