Well- organized tour with a balance between the old and new places - Francisco provided an excellent tour of Monterry. He is a life-long resident and so, was very informative. His English is very good and he knows the best places to see in a 5-hour tour. He is an excellent driver, too!!

You can enjoy some good tacos with what you prefer, people who attract, friendly and respectful. - Mountain town, beautiful and relaxing, with its beautiful landscapes, where nature meets the city. City with lots of traffic and food everywhere.

This was a great way to... - This was a great way to see the city and learn about its history. However, the best part was having Iván Rocha as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and even offered to take our pictures throughout the tour. I highly recommend this experience and would suggest asking for Iván specifically!

Downtown Monterrey - Carlos was a great guide. We felt welcome and also secure with him. We walked through downtown Monterrey, some of Parque Fundidora,got on their boats in Santa Lucia and walked through some of el Barrio Antiguo. We a got a little piece of everything. This was our first time in Monterrey and didnt have a car so having this planned as well as a guide to pick us up and drop us off again was great. The weather was very hot in July recommend an umbrella or personal fan, wear breatheable clothes as you have to walk some. Guide spoke Spanish only.

Totally Recommend - Guide was on time, friendly and was very knowledgeable of the area. His was fluent in I English what was fantastic. Totally recommend doing this tour.

Buyer beware! - This tour was painful. It might as well have been described as a tour with no purpose. I'll start with the positives. Francisco, the guide, had a decent car and drove it well. He also was polite and took photos of my wife and I. And that's where the two stars come from, otherwise, is rate it zero stars. As for the tour itself, it was unpleasant. As another reviewer mentioned, Francisco spent much of the time on his phone. He also offered very little information throughout, and most of the time, was walking from behind me. Yes, that meant I was walking ahead and not knowing where I was going as he provided no direction whatsoever. Francisco offered very little in terms of advising what was even offered on the tour. In fact, on the boat ride, when it got to the park he asked me if I wanted to get off the boat or stay on and go back. I had no idea what this entailed, so I advised that we'd stay on. A fellow passenger (not on the tour) overheard me and recommended I get off and explore. I then advised Francisco that this is what we wanted to do, and once again, he walked behind me, talking on his phone. Francisco offered zero translation for the boat ride, and if you don't understand Spanish, you will learn nothing. He also kept us waiting for 31 minutes in a park with no seating as he had to collect his car, but there was no way that his car was more than 15 minutes away. I guess he just spent more time chatting on his phone. I'm sure this tour is good with other guides as per the reviews, but if you book this and are assigned Francisco as your guide, cancel it.
