Engaging and super fun, no matter the medium! - Donovan hosted a virtual ghost story hour for a few of my friends and let me tell you, watching through zoom was still an amazing and engrossing experience. Ghost hunting 101 - The macabre history of Montreal and surrounding areas is always eye-opening and yet oddly entertaining! Although I have attending all walks/events with Haunted Montreal over the years which I highly recommend, my recent event was an 'investigation', equipped with EMF recorders, spirit box and rem-pod. It was a blast! Our host Dominique was extremely knowledgeable in both the twisted history of Montreal as well as all things paranormal. We had fascinating results and responses from beyond! Would definitely recommend.

A fun and well researched tour - The topic of the tour was great but the best part is that the content of the tour itself was well researched by the tour guide, Donovan. The tour was a little under 2 hours, and walking around for this length of time was not a problem. The tour group was made up of me and my friend, so it definitely felt like a private tour. I look forward to trying out the other tours - highly recommend!

Old holy cemetery antoine - I loved the link between the history of the place and the paranormal investigation looking for ghosts, the animator is experienced and leading in his explanations, many felt emotions and others sensations, it was a real suspense to hear the answers from beyond to our questions posed to these dead people of the time, I suggest this activity to everyone of all ages.

Thank you Dominique for sharing your deep knowledge of this "hidden" cemetery in the heart of downtown & all your lengthy years of experience with paranormal investigation techniques. This was my 3rd experience with this illuminating paranormal event experience and I learn something new & have brand new experiences & conversations with spirit there, every time. And it was a beautiful experience for me to help a little girl cross over to heaven tonight, at the end of the night. 💖 Even with all my years of experience as both a paranormal investigator and a clairvoyant medium who talks to the dead, my love of the paranormal is really underlined and validated will think this paranormal project that offers so much to ppl of no experience to the most experienced! Most excellent. ☺️🙏💖

Do the research and walk yourself - I was genuinely looking forward to this tour given Halloween is just around the corner, but it unfortunately fell well below expectations. Having done many haunted tours across Canada, the U.S., and Europe, this one significantly missed the mark in both storytelling and organization. The guide often appeared unprepared—forgetting facts, mixing up names of historical figures, and at times seeming as though they were recalling stories for the first time. Despite emphasizing their background as a former paramedic with firsthand experiences tied to Montréal’s darker history, that level of authenticity never came through. The stories lacked detail, depth, and atmosphere—the essential ingredients that make haunted tours engaging and memorable. To make matters worse, we waited over 15 minutes in the cold (on top of an early arrival to avoid situations such as these) for a late participant who never arrived or provided notice. For those of us who were on time, it would have been more considerate to begin promptly or at least have the guide/organizer contact the missing party for an update. The guide was also accompanied by a partner, though her role was unclear as she didn’t engage with the group or contribute to the storytelling. Throughout the tour, the guide led us down busy streets, often stopping at crowded intersections where traffic noise made it difficult to hear. At times, it felt unsafe and disorganized, as we were expected to focus on the guide’s voice while also navigating pedestrians and oncoming cars. Instead of being drawn into tales of hauntings, many of us lagged behind, quietly chatting among ourselves or walking in silence wishing for the tour to be over. Much of the narration came across as a simplified, “CliffsNotes” version of local legends, and at times, it was hard to tell whether the stories were factual or simply improvised. Overall, the ad misled us to believe the tour would be performed by a professional actor and storyteller. The tour had potential as Montréal is full of dark historical content however, this lacked preparation, cohesion, and depth.
