Monkeys, history and rum! - Our driver and guide for the day named Glyne was very interesting and informative, giving us commentary and amusement en route to both sites. The tour is a good combination of wildlife and history, with plenty of rum to try. A very well organised and enjoyable tour.

Great half day out - Chris the guide was excellent and knowledgable about the island so we learned a lot about the local history before we got to the Plantation. We also met the owners son, Simon who was very welcoming and helped with the rum tasting

Enjoyable way to see a greater variety of Barbados - My wife and I did the tour which included the wildlife reserve and St. Nicolas Abbey and we were very happy with our experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us a nice tour of the island. What I really appreciated about the tour is that unless you have a car, a lot of these places would be difficult and expensive to get to with a cab. The tour gives you a nice taste of parts of the island that you might not otherwise get to see. I will say that our tour did feel a bit rushed. We could have used more time at both the wildlife reserved and the Abbey, but still, it was sufficient and worth it for what we paid.

It does exactly what it says on the tin! - The Reserve was fascinating with far more to see than just monkeys - but they are the star attraction. We had about an hour at the reserve before making the short journey to St Nicholas Abbey. The house was beautifully preserved in lovely grounds and alongside one of the most pristine distilleries I have ever seen. Our guide Virginia was welcoming and provided a full and fascinating insight into the history and current operation of the estate. We didn’t take the train - which also looks pristine - which did mean that we had an extra 45 minutes or so to view the estate than those that did

Beware! Others are more reliable - Pretty bad. We booked for a “guided tour in a small group”. All you get is a little train ride and no transfer back. Had to pay $60 also just to get back to the hotel.
