Day 1: Marrakech–Ait Ben Haddo–Ouarzazate –Dades Valley
Embark on a journey to Ouarzazate, traversing the lofty Atlas Mountains via the Tichka pass. Pay a visit to the kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a historically fortified town, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue onward to Ouarzazate, also known as “the gateway to the Sahara desert” and “Africa’s Hollywood”. Finally, arrive at Dades Valley, with an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Dades Valley–Todra Gorges–Merzouga
Following breakfast, tour the spectacular Dades Valley and Todra Gorges. We then move ahead towards Merzouga through Erfourd. Upon reaching Merzouga, we will safely store our luggage and embark on a camel expedition to a Berber tent camp situated amid the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
Day 3: Merzouga–Ziz Valley–Fez
Rise early in the morning to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the dunes. Head back to Merzouga on a camel. Then it’s time to set off for Fez via the town of Rissani, where an authentic marketplace awaits exploration. From Rissani, we journey towards the Ziz Valley in the middle Atlas. We arrive in Fez by evening.
