It is also a favored spot for many species of migratory birds. The Oued Massa (river), often referred to as the Nile of the Sous, generously offers natural beauty and greenery amidst a desert landscape (optional walk).

Discover the sand dunes amidst a rocky desert, visit small villages, and arrive near the sand dunes for a stop to take photos or enjoy a short camel ride (EXTRA), which is often a delightful experience for children.

  After lunch, continue the journey to the desert gateway: Tiznit, a small town encircled by ramparts, renowned for its filigree silver jewelry. Explore the medina, its alleys, the souk (shopping available upon request), and the large Almechouar square.

Before heading back, enjoy free time in the large square if desired, or simply relax with a mint tea in one of the cafes under the arches of the square to observe the daily life of this region.
