Ait Ben Haddou - Your first stop will be at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah , the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Et-Hami in the late 13th century, it is now a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, which today still houses many Glaoui family members. you will have a guided visit in this fortified Berber village here you will feel like you are a movie star . Lunch by the Kasbah

Ouarzazate - Continue to Ouarzazate city famous for cinema and movies such as Game Of Thrones, Gladiator, Lawrence Of Arabia… The journey continues to Dades Gorge through the road of “the Thousand Kasbahs”, which offers many fine photo opportunities of nature

Boumalne Dades - You will make a stop in oasis town at Skoura in the birds valley to see the standing 18th century Kasbah of Ameridhil, we’ll get to Kalaat Mgouna - famous for pick roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May then Dades valley.

Dades Valley ⇨ Todra Gorge ⇨ Rissani ⇨ Merzouga Desert Camel trek

Gargantas del Todra - after breakfast we head to Merzouga desert is one of the largest wind blown dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi Sahara . Through the Berber village Tinghir is a charming city by Todra valley and palm tree droves. we visit the famous Todra Gorge where the cliffs are as high as 300m and only 10 m apart. you have chance to hike in the beigest canyon in Morocco. We leave Todra passing through many Berber villages as Tinjdad where we can stop for lunch or if you preferable continue to Rissani where you could have the local specialty Berber Pizza for lunch if we get there by Midday

Merzouga Desert - After lunch, we make our way to Merzouga to meet the camels are waiting for you to join the camel trekking experience. The camels take you to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi golden sand dunes. the south east of Morocco desert is large as 35 km long and 5 to 8 km wide it is also reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is a unique and diverse environment. The camel trek takes about 1hr 30 min from Merzouga town to the nomadic camp where we continue the spirit of the nomadic Berber lifestyle. There we set up few Berber tents with additional restaurant and kitchen with western toilets. After dinner, you gather around the fire and enjoy the desert night perhaps with traditional Berber drums. you will be free for a romantic walk on sand dunes to see the starry sky with a big chance to see a shooting star. Spending the night in the camp in the middle of Erg Chebbi Desert.

Merzouga Desert ⇨ ZIZ Valley ⇨ Midelt ⇨ Ifran ⇨ Fes

Midelt - After breakfast, and departure to Fes we Drive up Northwards Fes via the exquisite views of the 1000 ZIZ-Palm trees, Then Lunch is in Midelt, “the apple capital”, at the foot of the Ayachi Mountain.

Ifrane National Park - Then have a pet stop to enjoy some time with Monkeys in Azrou Cedar Forest, afterwards visit the Moroccan Switzerland “” IFRAN” then up to Fes in the evening

Fes – Historical Tour

Fes el-Bali - Discover the alluring charm of Fes Guided Tour Full Day. After picking you up from your hotel or Riad, you will first visit the magnificent Royal Palace to admire its fabulous giant gates and fascinating architecture. Explore The Mellah The Ancient Jewish Quarter, The Andalusian Style Jnane Sbile Gardens, The Batha Museum and Marvelous Towers. Next, you will explore the Old Medina, a UNESCO world heritage site known as the Medina, with shops selling carpets, silver, carpets, silver, and the most captivating handicrafts. You will be introduced to the famous Al-Karaouine University dating back to 859, the sophisticated architecture of Najjarine Fountain, the ancient Chouara Tannery, and the blue-tiled Gate of Bab Boujloud.

Fes ⇨ Meknes ⇨ Volubilis ⇨ Chefchaouen

Meknes Medina - After breakfast we Drive you to the imperial city of Meknes, Discover walls with monumental gates dating back to XVII-century as Royal Palace, Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis, Bab Mansour and El Heri es-Souan huge granaries and stables built by Moulay Ismail’s soldiers.
Go to the underground channels which bring fresh water from the Middle Atlas Mountains Stop in Moulay Ismail Mausoleum
*Visit Place-El-Hedim great monumental and other places.
After we Drive you to Volubilis Roman ruins.

Volubilis - Arrive at Volubilis an attractive preserved Roman ruins. Together
We will learn more about the historical and the cultural Roman city by looking at the ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, Basilica and Capitoline Temple.
After lunch, Drive passing through Ain Lah, Royal family firm, Zagotta, Dam Achahad & Rif mountain.

Chefchaouen - Drive to Chefchaouen passing through the beginning of the Rif Mountains, before we arrive at the beautiful pearl of Morocco, Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen ⇨ Rabat ⇨ Casablanca

Chefchaouen Medina - After breakfast, we will start exploring Chefchaouen ( known as the blue city ). It is a small charming, clean and fresh town. you’ll stroll around the old Medina with its old restorated kasbah, Plaza Utta
Hammas, the square at the heart of the town is really an ideal place to relax. with its steep, narrow cobbled streets and white-washed walls, blue doors, windows, and mountains as a backdrop makes Chefchaouen a wonderful place for fascinating pictures.
You will have an opportunity to meet with locals, wander in the souks (markets), and enjoy this amazing town.

Rabat Old Town - After breakfast, We leave Chefchaouen then we will set off to the administrative capital of Morocco, Rabat. In Rabat, you will visit: The magnificent Kasbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower with its uncompleted minaret, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan 2 (father of the current king )

Hassan II Mosque - after we drive to Casablanca the economic capital of Morocco, We will make a visit to the Hassan II Mosque. the second largest in the world, a beautiful building with spectacular views over the sea. Today is the last day, We will bring you to the Airport or hotel of your choice in Casablanca

So easy to work with. They went above and beyond each day to make our experience amazing - We just completed an incredible trip to Morocco with desert trips. The level of organization and care provided was truly outstanding. They were able to customize our itinerary, hotels, and timing at each location. We opted for their 4 star hotels, which were superb and very traditional. The locations were always in the center of town, and the hotel staff was wonderful without exception. And they furnished outstanding local guides with great local knowledge as well as being affable and fun to be with. We can’t say enough good things about our driver, Said. He was truly outstanding, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and so attentive. Said brought every place to life with his stories and deep knowledge of the history and culture, and made every drive comfortable and smooth. He made us feel relaxed and genuinely welcomed the entire time. This was honestly one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. The level of care, organization, and team quality were exceptional. We’re so thankful for making this such a special and unforgettable experience. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!!!

Fantastic private trip and wonderful country to visit - We recently completed a private tour of Morocco and had an amazing time. We went to Morocco at the start of February 2026, but Med managed to put together an amazing 7 day itinerary. Our unique requests and allowing us to see so much in a short time, and his proposal, after a slight tune up, was perfect. The trip was incredible, from day one up to the end. And all of the riads and hotels were perfect. We were extremely privileged to have Omar for our guide/driver. The best of the best. He has a great sense of humor and kept us laughing the whole time, and he showed us the warm, welcoming attitude of Moroccan people. Furthermore, he shared information about the country and the Moroccan way of life. He was always prompt and provided the time we needed to tour areas of interest. Morocco has something for everyone, and we can highly recommend this firm to anyone who wants an educational, comfortable, entertaining, and enlightening overview of this wonderful, ancient yet modern country.

Magical Morocco - This was a very special private tour which was excellent value for money as it would not have been possible without the expertise of our local guide/ driver Said and the team at DesertTrips Marrakesh. We learned so much about Berber culture and experienced their food and music and hospitality. It was not just about seeing sights although the sights of Morocco are spectacular and diverse ( hills, desert, valleys, gorges, seaside: it has it all). I cannot recommend this enough and will be returning with DesertTrips and Said whenever possible again!

Very exceptional experience - Our guide and driver, Said, is a true gentleman. He is also a very good driver. Over the course of 7 days, my family thoroughly enjoyed the experience in a very relaxed, comfortable and worry free manner. Said knows every corner of the street (he doesn’t need GPS!). The travel arrangement is well planned and thought through. We stayed in very good accommodations with fantastic food choice. It’s a very special holiday experience for our family.

7 Dyas Desert Tour Fom Marrakech to Fes by Merzouga - We did a private 7-day tour from Marrakech to Fes desert and back to Marrakech. It was a specific trip that Moha gladly accommodated. There was a long drive but we had stops to see the scenic drive and were able to take great pictures. Btw, our driver, Abdel, was the best! He’s a very experienced driver and tour guide. He knows the way by heart and explained the details when we were passing by important landmarks. He takes good pictures as well, so if you have him as your tour guide, don’t be shy to ask him to take a photo for you. Thank you so much, Abdel and Moha

*Sep 14-20th, 2025* - From our very first conversation with Khalil and Med at DesertTrips, we felt completely reassured that we were in expert hands. Khalil spent over an hour with us to determine what type of travelers we are, what our special interests are and what we were not interested in doing on our tour. Khalil was a good listener, made appropriate suggestions based on our input and told us he would prepare an itinerary for our review. Med helped me reach that decision. My first time arranging a holiday for family, wife, and children, 15 and 18. Have no patience searching for good deals for hotels and places to visit, only to wonder if I've made the right decision. Usually leave it to the missus. But this year is my 46th and I wanted an adventure, to experience culture, be away from city life and relax. DesertTrips certainly delivered, and then some. Med made the booking experience so easy, offered exceptional personal advice and helped select a few locations in the country to minimise travel time and therefore cost. Even accommodated a change to the first proposed itinerary by switching the order of cities visited. Selected perfect Riads and amazing hotels in perfect locations. Even left the itinerary to Med which is what made the trip so special. I had no idea that being able to mix with locals was a thing. We spent time with families, had the most delicious cooking class meals, learned so much about the culture, religion and history. The guide & driver was exceptional, in his storytelling, manner, respect and meeting our needs to cope with the hot weather. The organisation was exceptional, with seamless transfers throughout the 7 day trip depending on the tour. Our driver, Hssaine, was absolutely amazing. I specifically enjoyed riding the streets of Marrakech and being in awe of the intricacies of daily travel here. Even when we had to make a change on the day, plans were rearranged without a hitch, we didn't notice a thing. Great at taking family pics too. He even took us to evening meals and chose amazing restaurants. I could go on, but this holiday raised the bar significantly in terms of expectations for future holidays. I'm really not sure any of us could travel any other way. Worth every penny and will not hesitate to contact DesertTrips again for our next adventure. No need to even try another agent. Med kept us informed every step of the way beforehand and even followed up after the trip. We knew exactly what was happening with the meeting of the guide, driver, etc.., such that none of us experienced any doubt or anxiety of not knowing whatsoever. Each accommodation offered an outstanding location, exceptional service, and breathtaking scenery. The local guides were excellent. Still so impressed and pleased that the experience was so much more than what was briefed in the professionally presented hard and electronic copies of our itinerary. Thanks Khalil, Med and the ground team in each location for making unforgettable memories for each of us. We give DesertTrips five stars for their service, commitment, and support.

Morocco Stole Our Hearts!!! - We’ve been lucky to travel a lot around the world but Morocco wow this trip was something else the colors the smells the sounds it all hits you in the best way possible every day was an adventure and I honestly can’t recommend this tour enough we explored the stunning Dades Valley and even stopped at filming locations for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. but the Sahara near Merzouga that’s a memory for life. riding camels into the dunes watching the sun sink behind the sand sleeping in a gorgeous desert camp under a sky full of stars and then waking up to the most incredible sunrise on a clear day you could even see Algeria in the distance! and Fes completely transported us back in time the medina is like stepping into history every alley full of life and mystery. And Chefchaouen the Blue City was pure magic wandering those blue streets felt like walking through a dream our riad there was cozy and perfectly placed near the town square. but what truly made this trip unforgettable was Omar our guide he’s funny warm full of knowledge and clearly loves his country. nothing was ever too much trouble and he made sure we had the perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxation. every riad and hotel we stayed in had its own charm clean safe and some were traditionally Moroccan others artistic and modern but all offered amazing hospitality and delicious food we often chose to eat right at our riad because the meals were just that good. 7-day flew by yet we saw so much and still had time to enjoy slow evenings the riads were stunning the food was mouthwatering and having Omar guide us made it all so easy and special. If you’re thinking about visiting Morocco do it and if you can book this tour you won’t regret it!

I packed everything I wanted to go around on a week-long private tour and asked for it. - The result was the best! From the requesting side, they didn't really do anything, they were able to arrange everything. Marrakech->Ait Benhaddou->Dades Valley->Merzouga (Desert)->Fes->Meknes->Volubilis->Chefchaouen->Rabat->Casablanca I was able to see six of the nine world heritage sites, The best thing about this trip was that it was private. After we got on in the morning, they told us what they planned for the day and explained the city in a way that was easy to understand. Thank you, DESERTTRIPS!! Now I want to come back with my husband and younger son!

Wonderful 7-Day "Gems of Morocco" Private Tour with Outstanding Driver/Guide - Desert trips did a fabulous job of building a private trip to Morocco for the five of us. We are of the "older generation" and it was important that we could rely on Desert trips to have seamless transfers, excellent hotels & riads, and remarkable local guides ... which they did throughout our 7-day trip ... We had an amazing time! Everything on the itinerary went as scheduled. Everyone enjoyed it very much and learned a lot of historical knowledge ... The biggest highlight of this trip was our private driver/guide, Mohammed. He is so friendly, funny, knowledgeable and so accommodating. His calm, personable, and pleasant demeanor was easy to be around ... Always prompt and even found us great local spots for lunch. We loved having him as a driver/guide. highly recommend him!! Thank you for all your attention, direction, and assistance. Special thanks to Mr. Mohammed. Morocco is a beautiful country and there was so much more to see. I wish the tour was a little longer, like 10 or even 12 days. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely return.
