If you’re into beautiful landscapes and food - If you’re into beautiful landscapes and food that tastes like someone’s grandmother made it with love, book this. The scenery on the way to Ourika is unbelievable — mountains, valleys, tiny villages. The argan oil stop was fascinating and genuine, not a tourist trap. But it was the lunch by the water that stole the show. Everything was fresh and slow-cooked, and the tea afterward hit the spot. We ended with a short camel ride in traditional robes, which made for fun photos and laughs. Huge thanks to Youssef for making it all feel smooth and easy.

This day was packed but didn’t feel rushed - This day was packed but didn’t feel rushed. We stopped at villages, a cooperative run by local women, panoramic viewpoints, and even a tiny pottery place tucked in the hills. The lunch at the Berber family’s house was honestly the highlight — it was peaceful, delicious, and felt 100% real. Sipping mint tea by the river is a memory I’ll treasure. Our driver Zack was relaxed, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt comfortable all day. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see real Morocco beyond Marrakech!

The drive through the Atlas Mountains alone was worth it — but then we also got a local waterfall hike, a women’s argan oil coop (super cool to see the process), and the best tagine I had in Morocco. Eating by the river with fresh fruit and mint tea? Yes, please. Camel ride in nomad clothes at sunset? Even better. Thank you, Simo, for making this an easy and unforgettable day!"

We were welcomed into a lovely Berber family home for lunch, and they treated us like old friends. I still think about the warm bread, the vegetables, and that perfect tagine. The scenery all day was just jaw-dropping. Mountains, waterfalls, valleys — nature at its best. Our guide, Bob, was super respectful and knew exactly when to give us space to enjoy it all."

So Grateful for This Experience - "Everything felt so thoughtfully planned — not rushed, not commercial. We got a great start with panoramic views through the Atlas Mountains, and our guide Simo made sure we had plenty of stops to take it all in. The hike to the waterfalls was just the right amount of challenge, and our local guide was amazing. The Berber lunch was the most authentic meal I had in Morocco. The setting by the river made it even more magical. I felt like I got to see a real side of Morocco."

Authentic, Peaceful, and So Beautiful - "If you’re looking for something that isn’t rushed or overly touristy, this is it. We got to Setti Fatma early, and it felt like we had the waterfalls to ourselves. Walking along the river afterward was so peaceful. Later, we visited an argan oil cooperative where we met amazing women who showed us their craft — it really touched me. And then lunch by the river in a real Berber home? Wow. So fresh, so flavorful, and served with a smile. Big thanks to Zack for being such a kind and patient guide!"

The waterfalls were beautiful and refreshing, but it was the little details that made it for me: the handmade argan products, the kindness of the Berber family who served us lunch, and the fact that our guide, Mohammed, knew exactly where to stop for the best views. Even the camel ride felt personal, not staged. Every part of the day had a soul."

Beyond My Expectations - "Honestly, I didn’t expect the trip to be this good! From the waterfall hike in Setti Fatma to the camel ride at sunset, every part of the day felt thoughtful and authentic. The visit to the Berber family’s house gave me such a warm feeling — they welcomed us like old friends. And that tea? The best I had in Morocco! I also loved how we weren’t rushed. We had time to enjoy, relax, take pictures, and just be in the moment. Thanks to The Moroccan Tour and our amazing driver, Zack!"

A Perfect Day Outside the City ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - "This was one of the best days I had in Morocco. The drive through the Atlas Mountains was stunning, with views that just kept getting better. I really appreciated the stop at the argan oil cooperative — seeing the women at work and learning about how they make the oil was eye-opening. But the absolute highlight for me was lunch. Sitting by the river with a fresh tagine and homemade bread… it was peaceful, delicious, and just felt so special. Big thanks to our driver, Youssef, for making the whole day smooth and memorable."

Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and real. A must-do! - We booked this experience with The Moroccan Tour and were lucky to have Simo as our driver—kind, calm, and full of great insights. The journey through the High Atlas Mountains was already breathtaking, with valleys and Berber villages that looked like postcards. But what really made the day special was the variety: a peaceful hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls with a local guide, a fascinating visit to the argan oil cooperative where we met incredible Berber women crafting oil by hand, and a lunch I’ll never forget—homemade tagine by the river, with fresh fruit and mint tea in a cozy Berber home. We ended the day on camels, dressed in Tuareg blue robes, riding through a quiet village at sunset. Everything felt personal, thoughtful, and real. A must-do!
