Jeep tour - The tour was informative and enjoyable. We had a great time. You get to see some amazing places! Chris was a great guide! You could tour these places alone, but you would not get the education and details that make the tour worth while. He had water, snacks, and tons of information.

WAY OUT WEST TOURS DELIVERED!!! - The 2 of us had a great PRIVATE TOUR w/Chris of Way Out West Tours. He promptly picked us up at our hotel at the agreed time in his clean blue Jeep Mojave. Our first stop was Dinosaur Ridge where we saw fossilized dinosaur bones and the impressions left in the sandstone of several sets of tracks. We then proceeded to Red Rocks Amphitheater which is stunning and well worth a morning visit; we had a concert scheduled there a few days later so it was of particular interest to us. The red sandstone slabs jutting from the earth are spectacular. Our next stop was Lookout Mountain including The Buffalo Bill Cody Museum and grave. The museum is filled to the brim w/artifacts and information of Cody's life including his traveling show! The great thing about a Private Tour is it can be altered and we decided to forgo lunch in Golden and spend the extra time at our previous mentioned stops (Still learned info about Golden). Chris has vast knowledge of each of our stops and you will enjoy conversation with him including tips to tolerate the elevation shifts of Denver and surrounding areas (Pay Attention, you'll be happy you did). Each stop was easy walking, water and snacks were included in the tour. Thanks Chris for a great day!
