Marvelous mosaics! - A must do experience! One of the major reasons I visited Morocco was to witness the beautiful architecture and mosaics in person. What better experience than to make a small piece yourself, guided by a master!

Fantastic workshop - give it a go, you won’t regret it! ❤️ - We cannot recommend this trip more highly. It was fantastic from start to finish. We had such a lot of fun learning all about mosaic tiles and having a go at cutting our own tile pieces. It’s the best thing we have done in Marrakech! Loved it ❤️

Magnificent Marrakesh Mosaic - The ceramic mosaic workshop was fabulous! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the way it was taught (Sabik) with the translation and help of Abdel kindly, warmly and charmingly taught us to cut tile, place pieces for a team project and then make our own tiles to take with us. We had so much fun and really developed a renewed appreciation for all these magnificent mosaics! Abdel picked us up at our hotel, provided water and a drive by tour of the places we saw on the way. A delightful experience - so glad we did it!

Mosaic workshop in Marrakesh - The mosaic workshop was one of the highlights of my Marrakesh visit. It was fun and a bit challenging for me, but I loved it. The instructor was a pure joy and also our guide Mouad helped with the translation and pictures/videos.
We were welcome with a delicious mint tea and water bottles.
I left the class with my beatiful mosaic creation and a lot of appreciation and respect for the mosaic artists around the world.
I highly recommend this tour.

Hands on insights into the local tradition. Highly recommended - I had a wonderful time doing this workshop. Abdel the driver was a great communicator and I was grateful that he could pick me up from the Dar El Basha museum. I learned a lot about Marrakech from him as we drove out the the trades/workshop area. The craftsman is Sadiq, a very talented artist who is an excellent and patient teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to better appreciate the stunning mosaics that adorn so many interiors. Note that work is a bit physical, so be prepared.
As a solo traveller my only disappointment was that the booking system does not group solo travellers into classes. So if you sign up on your own, be prepared to be the only student. I enjoy sharing experiences with other travellers so I was a bit bummed.

i wish i could do this every week - worth it! Sadiq was a wonderful instructor, so patient and encouraging and sweet! you can tell how skilled he is at his work. I wish i could take lessons from him every week! My husband and I saw the good reviews and decided to try it out and it exceeded our expectations. i’m grateful for their hospitality and have a new appreciation for how these mosaics are made. Othman, our driver was also friendly, took video and pictures with our phone the entire time so we could just enjoy the experience. i did several tours and this one was one of the best half day tours!

Really to visit. - We have seen the work from start to finish, from the earth to the finished object (whether from door to key to tables) we cannot see how hard some steps of this trade are. When we look at mosaics today we see the men and women who shaped them.

Immersion in the mosaic technique - Fully recommended. The driver and translator Othman was very friendly and attentive and the teacher, Sadek, an expert in the mosaic technique. The activity is very worthwhile because they teach you the whole process, from where they bring the mud, the cooking in their ovens and the process of realization. The best activity, without a doubt I have done in Marrakech.
