• Flugumýri 18 - Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from your Reykjavik hotel, where you’ll meet your guide for a brief 15-minute drive to the quad biking base just outside the city.

Upon arrival, receive a safety briefing, put on your helmet, and then jump onto your quad bike to explore the countryside with your guide.

Ride the ATVs to Lake Hafravatn for a quick photo opportunity, and perhaps spot some horses, the bird Lagopus/Ptarmigan, and even Arctic Foxes that occasionally appear to observe the birds on the way up to Hafrafell mountain. From there, enjoy breathtaking views of Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær, and other towns from the elevated hills. You can also see the lava from a volcano near Hafnafjordur from many years ago, and possibly catch a glimpse of ash and smoke from the active volcano in Geldingadalur on the Reykjanes peninsula.

After soaking in the fresh mountain air, return to the base for your journey back to your Reykjavik hotel. The entire activity lasts approximately 2.5 hours, including pickup and return.

Join this family-friendly ATV Quad tour from Reykjavik, where you can feel like you’re worlds away while still being close to the city. If you enjoy experiencing nature firsthand on an ATV Quad, this tour is perfect for you. Participants can choose between a Single Ride or a Double Ride. The Double Ride is the standard option, accommodating two people per quad. However, if you prefer to ride solo, you can select “Single Ride” during the booking process for an additional fee.

We offer pick-up services from all hotels in the Reykjavik area when possible. Please be aware that Reykjavik has designated non-pickup zones for tourists in the downtown area, so we arrange pick-ups from specific tourist bus stops nearby. The nearest tourist bus stop is usually conveniently located.

For those who prefer to meet us at the meeting point, our basecamp is just a 20-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik.

• Drivers need full drivers license to drive the ATV´s. Passenger can be from 6 years old.

• Please note that pickups from some hotels in Down town Reykjavik are not allowed as there are no pickup zone by the government. Next Bus stop is typically in a 2-5 minute walk from your hotel. To choose the next bus stop: Search bus stops in Reykjavik Search the closest to your hotel & select the one nearest. If you don’t know your pickup location please send us an email and we can help you. Pick-up starts 30 minutes before the departure time. Be ready at 10:00, 13:30, 17.30 or 20.30, depending on your booking. The pick-up process can take up to 30 minutes.
• In the wintertime we recommend to wear all your layers, warm shoes and socks, have handwarmers and footwarmers and scarf or good buff for your neck. It can be cold on the Quads.
