Snow capped mountain views - This was a spectacular experience. Family owned business and it really felt authentic and caring . They loved their horse and staff - and the ride was truely the most beautiful experience - we had snowy mountains in front of us the whole time .

Amazing experience at family owned farm - We had an amazing experience at this family owned farm. From the personalized pick up and drop off, we had a truly unique adventure. We were beginners but the staff was very detailed and we were on our horses in no time. The scenery during the winter was stunning and the tour was the perfect length taking you through the snow cap hills and across multiple small rivers. The icelandic horses are truly amazing up close and i would recommend this farm and this experience to anyone.

Such an amazing... - Such an amazing experience. The horses are clearly cared for and loved. A lovely atmosphere and the people that took us out were amazing. The views were breathtaking. The horses are lovely natured and calm and love a good cuddle. If we come back to Iceland I will definitely be going back. An amazing way to see Iceland. My favourite activity by far! Thank you so much.

These folks know how to... - These folks know how to provide a good tour. The pick up was seamless and the team was well prepared and organized. You can very easily tell they love their herd and everything is based on the safety (including that of the horses)

Just do it, you’ll love it! - This is an absolute must to do whilst in Iceland whether you are a horsey person or not! Lovely, friendly family and the sweetest, well loved, well behaved and cared for horses. Thank you so much for a fantastic time and lovely memories. Sassy horse, serene snowy ride - Everything about this was so warm and welcoming! The family farm atmosphere is a treat, the horses are obviously loved and well cared for. I visited in February and the weather was typical. My mount was a sassy girl who was determined to get home faster than I was interested in her going. It had been a long time since I had been on a horse and I was a little surprised that I was intimidated at first, but got used to it quickly. I would recommend this for someone who has at least passing familiarity with horses/no fear of them. Its such a fantastic immersive experience and I can't wait to return and bring my husband.

Amazing! - We had such a wonderful time riding the Icelandic horses. The group stuck together for the first half and then split into 2 groups - slow and fast for the way back. The fast group was really fun. The pick up and drop off went smoothly. Highly recommend this activity.

This is NOT for... - This is NOT for beginners. The woman was annoyed we did not want to go fast and trained the horses all to go at her pace. The guy who was supposed to stay in the back of the line stayed in the front the second half so we were alone in the back and they barely looked back to see if we were okay or when our horses stopped for water they just kept going. We didn’t get to bond with the horses really before or after either which was disappointing.
