Our personal favorite due to its pristine scenic views and versatile nature! Perfect choice for beginners and experienced hikers alike. You will cross several climatic zones (from heath on Shira Plateau to Arctic desert in the summit area), each different, unique and captivating.
Our professional climbing crews will take care of your safety and comfort. Overnight stays are in our special walk-in tents, the “kitchen” team will surprise you with their cooking skills, and the porters will carry the equipment. The guides will be leading your way, excitedly sharing their knowledge of this amazing Mount.
Pre and post-climb accommodation (included) will be in a cosy hotel in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Airport transfers included.

An adventure of a life time, treated likely royalty - Wow I don’t know where to begin and if I can ever do justice to the outstanding, dare I say life changing, experience I had but I shall try.
Altezza team takes care of everything from the moment they meet you at the airport to the moment they drop you off. I’m a solo female traveler and now for a second did I feel unsafe, or uncared for.
I rented some equipment and it was in excellent condition AND from great brands like black diamond. My travel manager reviewed everything I packed and made suggestions that were so on point. They were flexible and gave me items that I didn’t reserve ahead of time.
Now onto our trekking team, the guides were outstanding! I can honestly say that I would not have made it to the summit had it not been for Rashid, who gave me a boost of oxygen on a cold summit night when I was hit with altitude sickness and encouraged me to go on. Another special shout out goes to Augustine, who literally held my hand as I descended because I got hit with another wave of altitude sickness (they also gave me oxygen as we descended).
This is not to mention the 3 course meals and countless snack/tea breakers we had on the 7 day trek masterfully cooked up in a tinny kitchen tent by a team of chefs and served by our 2 waiters (yes, we had waiters). The rest of the 45 ppl crew that ensured we completed our mission were outstanding as well (please tip your team well, they work so hard). Our chefs also surprised us with non-alcoholic champagne at dinner after the summit to celebrate our accomplishment.
Finally as we descended, our amazing waiter Paulo was waiting with a full spread of all sorts of drinks, 2 bottles of Cava (with alcohol this time) and a hot lunch (compared to the other folks who got either a coke or beer). We felt like royalty!
We then proceeded to get our certificates and medals.
Our guides did not leave our side until they handed us over ot our travel managers. They really do take their jobs and safety very seriously.
I also fell ill on the last day of the trek so my travel managers took me to the doctor and stayed with me the whole time, then took me back to the hotel… unbelievable service.
P.S. please tip your guides well, they work so hard, away from their families

Lifetime family experience!!! - Our family just came back from this outstanding Kilimanjaro and Safari trip in Tanzania.
The service that we have received from Alteeza Travel was next level.
From start to finish, every detail was handled with care, professionalism, and heart. Alteeza exceeded our expectations in every way.
Our guides Shaban, Mongi and Othamane were the best. They were very professional, friendly and encouraging-especially during our summit night. A special thank you to the 36 crew members that made this trip so memorable for our family. RESPECT to the porters for their incredible courage and hard work.
The safari was equally impressive and the accommodations suggested by Alteeza were just perfect.
Thanks to Alteeza for going over expectations:
-3 luggage arrived late to Kilimanjaro but Alteeza took good care of picking them up at the airport and bringing them to our hotel in Moshi at midnight the night before the start of our hike;
-my daughters had forgotten items in the first lodge of our safari but Alteeza had them picked up and brought to our last destination in Arusha;
-my son’s mittens were not warm enough for the summit night so they supplied warm mittens no problem;
-two of our headlamps ran out of batteries on our summit night and no problem they had spare headlamps;
If you’re looking for a company that is reliable, responsive, and truly cares about creating an unforgettable experience, Alteeza is the one. Highly recommended without hesitation!
Our family will remember this trip for the rest of our lives.

The Most amazing Trip to the roof of Africa !! - Climbing Kilimanjaro was challenging, rewarding, tough, memorable, exhausting, beautiful, demanding, satisfying, incredible, and unforgettable.
It’s a hard slog that tests your limits, but reaching the summit after days of pushing through altitude and fatigue makes it all worthwhile.
Albert and his team were simply incredible, patient, knowledgeable, they anticipated my needs everyday, such an amazing group of people to help us on our journey, too many names to mention but i’d do it again. Altezza lived up to and met EVERY expectation I had, they have changed what i expect from travel operators, they set a high bar !!

Best of the best - This was an extremely well organized and executed trip. The logistics of moving people up the mountain are amazing, everything brought up by Alteza porters. The staff was professional and encouraging, adding to the great time that was had by all. We stayed motivated throughout and enjoyed all the other guests. This was a five out of five, bucket list trip.

TO THE TOP - NON STOP! ONE TEAM, ONE DREAM! MORE WATER, MORE FIRE! - Just returned from an amazing 7-day journey with my son. The whole experience pre-climb and during the week was simply excellent. Felt extremely well supported the whole way - highly recommend! - The Altezza team was incredible. Everyone was so friendly and extraordinarily supportive. I did not have one need that went unmet. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Everyone was so willing to help and it was clear they wanted all of us to succeed in summiting. Big shoutout to Albert for his tremendous leadership- I would go on any trip with Albert again. I felt 100% safe.

Fantastic summit experience - Just back from reaching ‘The Roof of Africa’, an amazing experience which was made possible by the support of the incredible Altezza team. Managed by Albert, a truly inspiring leader, the team provided an exceptional service, I wouldn’t have made it without their kindness, experience and encouragement. Every effort is made to ensure your trip is comfortable, from tea stops en route, to the camp being set-up by the time we arrived. The guides kept us focused and positive during the challenging summit night climb and provided additional support along the way with oxygen, snacks, hand warmers etc.
There were around 50 crew supporting the camp so it’s a big operation, you get the sense everyone is playing their part to make sure you have the best experience and reach the summit.
During the booking stage there is constant communication with lots of information and questions are answered swiftly. We were in a fantastic group and the office team did a great job of creating a group that connected.
I have no hesitation in recommending Altezza.

and amazingly beautiful the entire trip was. I’ll remember it all with such gratefulness. Altezza Travels made the experience one to remember and most definitely one to brag about. Best Kilimanjaro Guide Group! - Our entire experience with Alteza travel was absolutely perfect from our first communications with Anastasia - who was always prompt, helpful and thorough to the hotel, trip prep, and the hike itself with our capable guides and incredible crew. Everything exceeded expectations. We were treated like royalty and the attention to detail and care made this once in a lifetime Kilimanjaro experience highly unforgettable.
Our lead guide, Albert and his assistant guide Musa were knowledgeable, encouraging, and always attentive. Patrick, our wonderful waiter gently woke us with a tap on the tent and hot coffee at exactly the right time every morning. Evance made sure we had plenty to eat and the hot meals were always fresh and amazing. Our third summit day guide, James, was so encouraging as the winds raged, he serenaded us the entire way up the mountain! Daily medical checks were a reassuring touch that helped us stay in tune with our bodies while living above 10,000 feet for multiple days. The porters were amazing – strong, kind, and so supportive.
