Habari Adventures is Simply the Best! - Thank you Habari team for making this a most memorable bucket list trip for my son and I! We chose Habari for its reputation as an honest, trustworthy Tanzanian owned company. Stan and Anna were great at responding to my many online questions. Stan uses a portion of all business proceeds to fund his local charitable foundation. We trekked the 7 day Lemosho route and were in the very capable care of Yusuph, and George our guides, MJ, our phenomenal cook, and a wonderful team of porters —Derick, Wilence, Servius, Devid, Frank and Alex. All staff were exceptionally positive, supportive and friendly. Always big smiles! A very special thanks to Yusuph for helping me realize my goal to climb Kilimanjaro! You are awesome, the best guide ever! I would not have made it without you, asante sana. Yusuph and George took great care of us and provided lots of information regarding the flora and fauna along the route plus conducted our daily medical checks. They also informed us each evening about our next day climbing itinerary including the appropriate clothing we should wear for the elevation and temperature. MJ, our cook, made amazing meals each day. He checked in with us after every meal that we were satisfied and always encouraged us to eat a little more! The cucumber soup will never be forgotten, 5 stars! I wanted to bring him home with us! We highly recommend Habari for your adventures. Wonderful Trek... Many Thanks! - We trekked with Habari Adventure in February 2025. Three in our group, we are a middle aged couple (late 40's) and we brought along our 18-year old son. Habari did a wonderful job. We trekked the Lemosho route (8-days) and were impressed with the experience on almost every front. Our guides and porters were terrific and extremely helpful. Special thanks to Jamal, my personal porter who always had a smile and was eager to carry my pack. Food was impressive from the beginning to end... surprised at how delicious food can be on a long trek! Cheers and thanks to our wonderful cook and server. Communication is key... and this is where Habari excels. Our guides, Yuseph and Johnson were excellent, especially considering the difficulties on Day 6 as I personally became ill and had to be evacuated off the mountain. They were excellent in helping down while continuing the summit trek with my wife and son. Many thanks to Habari Adventure and the entire crew. Exceptional! You can’t go wrong. - I chose Habari Adventure as it has an excellent reputation, but also because it’s a local company which I wanted to support. Habari certainly lived up to my expectations, and much more. As a solo female, I felt very supported by all the crew, who took such great care of me and nicknamed me Mama Simba. We had so much fun together, and I’m so grateful for everything they did to help me reach the summit. They also helped me learn a lot of Swahili and slang. A special thanks goes to Stan who runs such a smooth and safe operation, and my guide, Yusuph, who was exceptional in every way... and was so thorough in his medical and overall care of me. I felt that he really cared about my wellbeing, and did everything in his power to help me summit. Hat off also to my fantastic chef, Innocent (MJ) - wow, what superb food; Manu - my super attentive chef (made me eat more than I wanted 😅); Rama - my summit porter, for all your help and much needed encouragement on summit night; and my porters - Simon, Samson, Widi, and Japhet… without you, it would never have been possible to reach the roof of Africa. Legends! 🙏🙏🙏 I also went on to do the 5 day safari after, and WOW… that’s also an experience I will never forget! I particularly loved the Serengeti, and saw so many cats, elephants, and hyenas up close. The luxury tented lodges are the coolest and most thrilling places I have ever stayed at, and a special thanks to my guide Hillary who was really funny and took great care of us. An Amazing Adventure - Our experience hiking Mt Kilimanjaro with Habari Adventure was fantastic. We chose the company because we were looking for a Tanzania- owned and operated company that offered -a 7-day Lemosho route trek at a modest price point. But the benefits turned out to be so much greater than that. We felt so taken care of from the moment we met our guides at the hotel, Abdi and Mike, to the final day of descent down the mountain. Our team of cooks and porters were wonderful, kind people who always had a positive attitude, which made even the hard moments of the hike feel doable. My husband had a medical situation and the Habari helped him evacuate down the moment and made sure he got the care he needed, following up and checking on him every day. There is no possible way I could have summited the majestic Mt Kilimanjaro without our incredible guides and support team. Our guides did so much more than just make sure we made it safely to camp each day. Mike and Abdi told us so much about Kilimanjaro, it’s terrain, plants, animals, history and shared many stories along the way. At each camp we arrive to the comfort of our tents already set up with, seemingly endless snacks, tea, hot cocoa and a delicious variety of meals-the porters, servers and cooks (shout out to Mr Thomas and Novatus) worked so hard to make our experience magical. Our guides were immensely knowledgeable and experienced, and Mike timed our summit night perfectly so that the moment we arrived at the summit, the sun broke over the horizon, illuminating the pristine glaciers of Uhuru Peak. I am so grateful to Stan and the Habari team and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Best Experience of My life!!.. - Lemosho Route! Special thanks to this group for the best tips always! Habari is the best We were a group of 13 and we successfully summitted thanks to the wonderful guides and porters of Habari Adventures. It was the trip of a lifetime for me. We chose Habari after a friend who summited with them recommended it to us last year and many positive comments in this group. I also preferred Habari because it is Tanzanian owned, and we wanted to go local. I started planning in September 2024 and talkinStan Wilfredlfred during the comparison and selection process was friction free and easy with prompt responses. I asked for a joining group and Stan gave me the best dates and put me with wonderful people on the 03rd March - 10th March 2025: 8 days Lemosho Route Habari answered all my questions during the preparation process and helped me with choosing the right equipment to buy. I also rented some warm jackets and sleeping bags in their office. All pre climb and post climb accommodations were arranged, including pick up and drop off at the airport. Once we started the climb, the guides Leon, Joseph, Sam, Evans and Ray and the porters were like family. They kept us up to date, real and optimistic throughout. Every day of the climb was extremely well organized with proper briefings, equipment checks and health checks. The tents were of great quality and so was the toilet tent and service. The chef and food were awesome. It is amazing what the chef could come up with given the scarce space and resources. We sang and danced and celebrated small quirks. The ratio of crew to climber was very high as well and our every need was taken care of. The guides planned our pace and times based on their judgment and it turned out to be perfect. They ensured we wouldn't burn out and have a lot of fuel left for summit night and also avoid altitude sickness. They also helped in mental preparation. I can honestly say that without them, summitting would have terribly difficult. I bonded very well with the entire crew, learnt a lot of Swahili on the way and became familiar with their way of life and living. I had tears in my eyes when we all met in the Habari office to say our goodbyes. If you are thinking about climbing Kili, don't hesitate, just do it and you cannot go wrong with Habari Adventure:

Habari Adventure gave us the best Kili experience - We, a group of 7 successfully summited Kilimanjaro UHURU Peak on February 23rd, 2025. The experience was nothing short of incredible as we hiked through the Lemosho Route over eight unforgettable days. We chose Habari adventure group after lot of research and found great reviews about them in FB and we wanted to choose a local team. We believe that we could summit Kili only because of the support provided by Habari team. We got a breifing about the 8 days hike from Stan a day b4 our start. He had already built a good relationship with through whatsapp chats after we booked them. We started our journey to the Lemosho route start gate on sunday morning with our leads and bunch of porters. we had lots of fun during the 2 hour drive and they were explaining about different trees, and areas we were crossing. Our experiernce with each of the habari crew was exceptional. they treated us with utmost care and support. the wake us up in the morning with a hot tea or coffee (our choice), hot water for brushing and cleaning, yummy breakfast. by the time we were finishing the breakfast, our camelbaks were filled with water and bag, poles etc were kept outside ready for the day's hike. Every meal was made delicious and cosits of a soup, carb, protein , vegetables and fruits. snacks and tea was provided during the hike. though our hikes were strenous, but their company made it easy for us. Summit day hike was the most challenging one as it was during the night, But habari team made it possible for us. they sang through out the hike to keep us awake and motivated us through out. I called them as hands of GOD . Great souls on earth. I highly recommend Habari adventure team if you want to enjoy Kilimanjaro Hike.

We had an absolutly amazing experience with Habari Adventure! - We had an absolutely amazing experience with Habari Adventure! From the 8-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho Route to the 4-day safari, everything was perfectly organized, and we felt safe, well taken care of, and truly supported throughout the journey. The guides (Abdi, Mike) were outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and always eager to share fascinating insights about the mountain, wildlife, and Tanzanian culture. Their encouragement and expertise made all the difference, turning this challenging adventure into an unforgettable experience. The cooks were nothing short of magicians! On the mountain, we were amazed by the delicious and energizing meals they prepared in such remote conditions. And during the safari, our cook not only served up fantastic food but also kept us entertained with his great sense of humor, making every meal a joy. And let’s not forget the porters—the true superheroes of Kilimanjaro! Carrying heavy loads, setting up camp ahead of us, and always greeting us with smiles and positivity. Their dedication and hard work were simply inspiring. After reaching the top, the safari was the perfect way to celebrate. We explored breathtaking national parks, saw an incredible variety of wildlife, and once again, our guide (Mike) impressed us with his ability to spot animals and share his deep knowledge of the landscapes. We highly recommend Habari Adventure to anyone looking for a safe, well-organized, and unforgettable Kilimanjaro climb and safari. They made our dream honey moon a reality, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! - Highly recommend Habari Adventure!! We did a lot of research to choose a tour operator for our Kilimanjaro climb. Habari Adventure met all of our criteria and had been recommended by a personal acquaintance who had summited with them. My friend group (5 of us ranging from 26 to 59 years old) did the 7-day Lemosho route with Habari and had an absolutely amazing experience. We all summited! But it was the whole 7 day journey, guided and supported by Habari Team fantastic and fun crew that made the trip so memorable. The Habari Team took such good care of us, from picking us up a the airport, to checking our gear, guiding us up the mountain and back down, coaching us to reach the summit, and doing all the heavy lifting and pampering at camp. They exceeded every expectation I had. It was overwhelming how much they did for us. When they say “our dream is their goal,” they mean it! Highly, highly recommend!

Trip of a lifetime. Habari Adventure was fantastic. - I recently summited Mount Killimanjaro with Habari Adventure and the entire trip was wonderful. Habari Adventure answered all of our questions before the trip and made us feel at ease. Every detail of the trip was arranged for us and we never had to worry about anything once we arrived in Tanzania. We were picked up from the airport by Innocent and he drove us to our accommodations at the Killi Wonders Hotel in Moshi. The hotel was clean and safe and just a short walk to town. The next day our guides Abdi and Godlizen met with us to go over the trip and make sure we had all the correct supplies. They were very informative and were very professional the entire trip. I would definitely request both of them in the future, If I ever climb the mountain again. Our cook Momma Jimmi and our waiter Emanuel were very friendly and did their jobs superbly. Our porters Mussa, Samson, Jared, etc. were all great. They carried our heavy bags and always had everything set up when we arrived at camp. They always seemed happy even after a long work day. I loved that our group was small because we would get up early and try to leave camp early and beat all of the crowds. Most days we were the first group to arrive at the next camp. This gave us lots of time to sleep, relax and eat in the afternoon. We were never rushed, but always seemed to be the leaders on the trail. On summit night, we were the first group to arrive at Uhuru peak. This gave us more time to take pictures without being rushed by other groups. We were also able to get back down to base camp around 8:00 am and take a long nap before descending down to the final camp. On the last day we were taken back to the office and fed a wonderful final meal and awarded our certificates. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and I am really glad that I booked my trip with Habari Adventure.
