Arrival Day

Moshi - Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our driver holding a sign with either your lead traveler’s name or your own if you are traveling solo. After completing arrival formalities, you will be driven to Keys Hotel in Moshi town for an overnight stay.

Moshi – Mkomazi National Park - Moshi

Mkomazi National Park - Between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, you will be picked up from Moshi town and driven to Mkomazi National Park with a picnic lunch box for a day of game drives. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, with opportunities to see cats, hippos, elephants, zebras, buffalo, giraffes, baboons, blue and vervet monkeys, warthogs, and more. Approximately 350 bird species have been recorded in the park. Take a break for a picnic lunch in the afternoon. You will also visit the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary, with more details provided by your experienced driver guide. Later in the evening, return to Keys Hotel in Moshi town.

Moshi Airstrip or Arusha Airstrip - Kigoma

Kigoma - Take a shared scheduled flight to Kigoma. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Kigoma Hill Top Hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take a sightseeing tour of Kigoma and Ujiji Town. Dinner and overnight at Kigoma Hill Top Hotel.

Kigoma Town – Gombe Stream National Park

Gombe Stream National Park - After breakfast, depart for Gombe Stream by boat along Lake Tanganyika. Have lunch at the lodge. If time permits, proceed with chimpanzee tracking. Dinner and overnight at Gombe Forest Lodge.

Chimpanzee Tracking

Gombe Stream National Park - After breakfast, go chimpanzee tracking and, if time permits, climb to Kakombe Waterfalls in Gombe Stream National Park. Meals and overnight stay at Gombe Forest Lodge.

Gombe Stream National Park – Kigoma Town – Arusha

Kigoma - After breakfast, transfer by boat and vehicle to Kigoma airport with a picnic lunch for a scheduled flight to Arusha Airstrip. Upon arrival at Arusha Airstrip, you will be met by our driver and transferred to Mount Meru Hotel.

Fly to Serengeti NP Kogatende Migration - Mara River Crossing

Serengeti National Park - In the morning, you will be picked up from Mount Meru Hotel and driven to Arusha airport for a flight to Serengeti National Park, landing at Kogatende Airstrip. Enjoy your first game drive on the way to the camp, arriving at Serengeti Savannah Camp just before sunset. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camp North Serengeti on a full board basis.

Full Day of Game Viewing in the Northern Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, take a packed lunch and head out for a full day of game viewing in the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. This area is part of the Serengeti-Masai Mara Ecosystem, which extends into Kenya and hosts the Annual Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles travel thousands of kilometers in search of pasture and water. The Serengeti is also home to a remarkable variety of wildlife and bird species. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camps.

Another Full Day of Game Viewing in the Northern Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Start your day with an early morning game drive at dawn, if desired. Discuss this option with your safari driver guide the night before. After the early morning game drive, have breakfast at the lodge/camp, then take a packed lunch and spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Savannah Camps.

Early Morning Game Drive, then Fly from Kogatende to Arusha Town

Serengeti National Park - Enjoy an early morning game drive before flying from Kogatende to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, with a drop-off at Mount Meru Hotel or a direct transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
