Great Way to Unwind After Kilimanjaro – Moshi Town & Rau Forest with John. - After finishing my 6-day Kilimanjaro trek, I joined a half-day Moshi town tour and Rau Forest hike with my guide John. It was the perfect way to relax and experience the local side of Moshi. John was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour feel very personal. I enjoyed exploring the local markets, learning about Moshi’s history, and then walking through the peaceful Rau Forest surrounded by monkeys and birds. It was a nice mix of culture and nature after the mountain. Highly recommend this experience, especially if you’re traveling solo.

Half-Day Moshi Town Tour & Rau Forest Hike. A Great Experience. - We had an amazing time exploring Moshi town and hiking through Rau Forest with our friends and our fantastic guide, John. The town tour gave us a great glimpse into local life, culture, and history John was very knowledgeable and made everything super interesting.
The Rau Forest hike was peaceful and refreshing. We loved walking among the tall trees, spotting monkeys, and seeing the rice fields nearby. It was the perfect mix of nature and culture in just half a day.

Perfect Way to End Our Kilimanjaro Adventure. - After completing our 7-day Machame Route climb on Mount Kilimanjaro, we joined the Half Day Moshi Town Tour and Rau Forest Hike with our amazing guide, Charles. It was the perfect way to relax, explore, and soak in more of the local culture after the mountain trek.
Charles was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience fun and memorable. We loved learning about Moshi’s history, meeting local people, and enjoying the beautiful, peaceful walk through Rau Forest. It was a great mix of nature, culture, and recovery after the climb.

Half-Day Moshi Town Tour and Rau Forest Hike. A Perfect Blend of Culture and Nature. - We had an amazing time on the half-day Moshi Town tour followed by the Rau Forest hike with friends. The town tour gave us a real sense of local life from exploring vibrant markets to learning about the Chagga culture and history. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience really engaging.
The highlight was the walk through Rau Forest. The scenery was peaceful and lush, and we even spotted some colobus monkeys. It was a relaxing break from town life and a great chance to connect with nature.
