Discovering Moshi: Coffee, Culture & Kilimanjaro Views. - My town and coffee tour in Moshi was an authentic and enriching experience that perfectly blended local culture with Tanzania’s famous coffee heritage. Nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Moshi offers a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and vibrant streets full of character.
The town tour gave great insight into daily life from local markets and small businesses to cultural stories shared by knowledgeable guides. The highlight, however, was the coffee tour in a nearby village. Seeing the entire process from harvesting and roasting to grinding and brewing was both educational and hands-on. The traditional preparation method, accompanied by singing and dancing, made it even more memorable.
Tasting freshly brewed local coffee right where it’s grown was unforgettable. It wasn’t just a tour; it was a genuine cultural experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Kilimanjaro region.

Moshi Town Tour with a Friend. - Exploring Moshi with a friend was such a refreshing and memorable experience. Nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the town has a calm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home right away.
We spent the day walking through the local markets, tasting fresh tropical fruits, and chatting with friendly vendors. The streets were lively but not overwhelming, and everywhere we turned there were stunning views of the mountain in the background. We also enjoyed visiting small cafés, sipping Tanzanian coffee, and learning more about the local culture.
What made the tour truly special was sharing it with a friend laughing, taking photos, and discovering hidden corners of the town together. Moshi may be small, but it is full of charm, warmth, and beautiful scenery. It was a simple yet unforgettable adventure.

Moshi town tour. - We visited local markets, shops, and community spots, learning about the history of Moshi and how people live and work there. Great Experience in Rau Forest and Moshi Town Tour - Mtallo Tours and Safari provided me with a great tour of Rau Forest and Moshi Town. My guide, Gerald, was knowledgeable and professional and made the experience very enjoyable.
