Journey from Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara - A professional tour guide/driver will meet the group in Moshi town to provide a brief safari information session. Following this, the journey to Lake Manyara National Park begins. Arrival is scheduled in time for lunch at the lodge. Post-lunch, the exploration of Lake Manyara National Park commences. This remarkable park is one of Tanzania’s most stunningly situated wildlife areas, featuring a vast but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s diverse habitat attracts a wide range of animals, including one of Africa’s largest populations of elephants, Manyara’s renowned tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae. Dinner and overnight stay will be arranged according to the chosen accommodation option.

Journey from Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, the group will descend 600 meters into this magnificent crater for a morning, half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas globally, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. With a year-round water supply and abundant fodder, Ngorongoro National Park supports a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this scenic national park is the dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a trained eye to spot. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the crater, after which the group will travel back to Moshi, concluding the African safari adventure. Guests will be transported to their hotel, marking the end of the safari package services.
