is ZAFS tour the best or what? - I recently completed my Kilimanjaro trek with Zafs Tour, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our guide was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always made sure we felt safe and motivated throughout the climb. The entire team was helpful, understanding, and went above and beyond to make the journey smooth and enjoyable. One of the unexpected highlights was the food—absolutely delicious! Every meal was hearty and satisfying, which made a big difference after long days of hiking. You could really feel the warmth and care of the crew in everything they did. If you're looking for a supportive, professional, and genuinely welcoming team to take you up Kilimanjaro, I highly recommend Zafs Tour. They made the whole adventure feel personal, safe, and truly special.

Kilimanjaro climb and 4 day safari experience :) - I planned Kilimanjaro climb in March due to my schedule and Lemosho route was the last opening available to me as March is considered a shoulder season. ZAFS Tours were gracious enough to plan an itinerary for me so that I could also do a 4 day safari along with climbing Kilimanjaro and I have to say that both experiences were fantabulous!! Kilimanjaro climb with amazing guides and the ever helping and hardworking porters was once in a life time experience. I was amazed at the delicious food being served on the mountain as food prep at such altitude is a stupendous task. Kudos to the entire team for keeping our spirits high. This feet would not have been possible without them! Wildlife safari was just an add on for me initially but the experience at Tarangire park, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti park left me speechless. I was able to see the Big five and the Cheetah on the safari vehicle was the highlight moment for me. A big cheer to ZAFS Tours for their effort. I want to add that as a solo female traveller, I made the correct choice by picking them. Also Huzeifa and Zainab visiting the hotel at the end of the trip for taking our feedback shows their level of involvement and dedication. Will definitely plan a family trip with ZAFS Tours soon :) By Aditi

Kilomanjaro climb, great experience with wonderful support from the entire ZAFS team - We travelled to Moschi to climb Kilimanjaro on the Lemoscho route. Even the reception at the airport was fantastic and the briefing the next day at our hotel with all 3 guides and 2 staff members of the ZAFS office was very informative. The climb was perfectly adapted to our fitness and we always arrived at the individual camps quite relaxed. Excellent is the catering with fresh fruit and carbohydrate-rich food as well as sufficient drinking water. During the strenuous summit ascent, we were watched by the guides all the time and responded to our condition. We could have been given oxygen at any time if necessary. Since our drinking potions froze at below -10 C the team also had hot water with them to get enough liquid. As a small improvement tip, larger mattresses would be nice for the European big guests. A mat in the awning is also helpful when it is not so dry.

I summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro with ZAFS Tours in December 2024. - I summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro with ZAFS Tours in December 2024. From start to finish, the arrangements were highly impressive, elevating our overall experience. Huzeifa and his team are incredible at what they do. The trek leaders (Alex, Moshi and Eric) were exceptional — professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the journey. They kept us involved and motivated throughout. The porters, cooks, and guides went out of their way to make sure we were beyond comfortable. The meals were delicious and energizing. The service was noteworthy. The team always spotted the best camp sites and set up our camps in advance. The energy of the entire team was infectious and made our experience even more memorable. The trek leaders paced the trek wonderfully, accommodating to the needs of each and every member of our group, ensuring that everyone made it to the top of Africa. Kilimanjaro is by no means a walk in the park, but the incredible team at ZAFS ensured that everything was taken care of, so that we, as trekkers, could focus on enjoying the journey. The summit push is taxing on both mind and body, but the ZAFS team kept us on the track. They sang songs out loud whenever it got really difficult, motivating the group to push further and ultimately summit. Thank you ZAFS Tours for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone planning to conquer Kilimanjaro! Look no further.

9 days Northern Circuit route - In February 2025 we had the pleasure of hiking with the Zafs Tours team on Kilimanjaro. We chose a 9-day, Northern Circuit route. Due to our age, both my husband and I are in our fifties, we decided that it would be easier for us to reach the summit after good acclimatization. We succeeded, although it was not easy. Zafs Tours is not only a company, it is a group of people who take care of every detail of the expedition. They took care of our comfort and maintaining our well-being. They reminded us about every detail: how to dress, what to have with us, how to eat and hydrate to cope at a higher altitude. Watching them work, you can see the work of a whole team of people who create one organism. They share their knowledge, experience and support at every step to safely lead us to the summit. John, Matthew, thank you for your guiding, Matata, thank you for your nice, punctual service and for your invaluable smile. Abu, thank you for the wonderful meals. The whole team for your help and support, it was a real pleasure to meet you all. We highly recommend the company Zafs Tours, not only did we climb with them but they also organized a Safari for us, and trip to a coffee plantation. Professional and versatile. We highly recommend. Dagmara & Marek.

What can I say about ZAFS and the Kilimanjaro experience with them - We were introduced to them by someone who had toured Mount Kilimanjaro with them. Based on that recommendation, we started to plan our Mount Kilimanjaro trek with them. Boy! And what an experience! From their expert advise, to the professional approach, to the team escorting us up the mountain, to the gourmet food 4 times a day.... just simply amazing! Started with our initial connection with Huzefa and ended with him coming over to the hotel after the trek. With the main guides - John/Aubrey/Gabriel; to our personal guide Matthew (and the other personal guides our group hired)- ; the chefs Zakaria and team; our dining tent managers and to each of the crew members, the porters. And not to forget Murtaza, the youngest member of the ZAFS team on the climb. Not once did the members of the ZAFS team complain about anything with the trekkers. Always smiling, supporting, holding hands (literally and figuratively), holding us through our emotions all through the way. We requested for stand up tents after the 1st night, we had them the third night even though the trek had already started. We requested for some Indian styled food and they accomodated that. While the experience of going up the mountain was fantastic, it was because of ZAFS being with us. We were 8 trekkers going up but the crew was an average of 4 per person. Not only the size of the crew, the services provided by ZAFS were very reasonable considering it was a 8 day tour. We had 2 major and 1 minor accidents during our descent, such that all three individuals had to be air lifted to be medically taken care off. What was truly amazing was 1 person was helped going to the helipad (about 2 kilometers away) by our senior guide John but the other person injured was literally piggy backed on the back of a porter from a completely different group of trekkers. Amazing hospitality worth learning from the Tanzanians! ZAFS not only conducts Mount Kilimanjaro tours, but also does safari tours. I am sure that even that would be something they would do excellently. No question that if I ever go back to do either, ZAFS would be the way we go.
