Additional Information

you will depart your hotel morning and head to the Materuni village. While at the village you will get to explore the lives of the Chagga people and do a coffee tour to see how the locals grow and brew coffee. After the coffee tour you will head to the waterfalls where you will have your packed lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon. Afterwards you will be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi.

Amazing Day Trip – Hike, Waterfall & Coffee! - This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our friendly guide picked us up from our hotel in Arusha and brought us back in the evening. Along the way, he shared lots of interesting insights about Tanzania, the local culture, and the region, but also knew when to give us quiet time to simply enjoy the ride. We started with a scenic hike on the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro to a beautiful waterfall. Afterwards, we had lunch with locals and learned how to make traditional Kilimanjaro coffee from beans to cup. On the way back, he stopped at a perfect viewpoint for photos of Mount Kilimanjaro: a great way to end the day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for nature, culture, and adventure in one trip!

Unforgettable day trip to waterfalls & coffee tour - Our day trip to the falls and coffee tour was just fantastic! The waterfalls were breathtaking – a real natural wonder. Great time with a lovely guide - It was awesome! Innocent took very good care of me during the whole trip, making sure I don’t slip on muddy rocks on our way to the waterfall. Coffee tour was lovely, the guys over there were so much fun. Food was delicious. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour to Materuni! - We had a great day with Innocent. The views were really nice and the coffee ceremony was interesting and the coffee was great. Innocent was a great guide, well informed and easy to talk to. We would definitely recommend the day trip with Innocent!

Great and lovely Guide; good experience - Amazing Tour with Innocent Totally worth it If you have enough time for a (halt) day trip from Moshi. Innocent ist an excellent guide who knows very much about the Flora and Fauna in that region. We enjoyed the tour with him, beautiful scernery at the waterfall and very delicious food . You can experience local coffee and even make your own. You will not regret Booking this Tour!

Great experience! - An amazing tour with Innocent where we walked 45 minutes to the waterfall, it does have a bit of uphill and downhill so be prepared for that! The waterfall was beautiful (and you can swim in it) and on the way, we also had explanations about certain plants and trees). You’ll also come across a small souvenir market. The local lunch was exquisite and the coffee experience was one to be a part of! If you’re looking for something to do, we definitely recommend this!

Incredible Day with Innocent - It was a wonderful day with Innocent. I enjoyed the beautiful hike to the waterfall and the coffee experience and lunch afterwards. Innocent is a wealth of knowledge on both the local area and the country of Tanzania. I learned a great deal while enjoying the outdoors. I highly recommend the personalized service he provides.

Loved this day trip - I loved this tour! The walk is not difficult, but for those who are not used to hiking, the guide was incredibly helpful, assisting my friend over rocks and narrow pathways. The waterfall was beautiful and well worth the visit. The demonstration on making coffee was both informative and fun, adding a unique touch to the experience. Lunch was delicious. Overall, it was a most enjoyable day. Highly recommended!
