Fantastic - This was a must for the Charleston area for any and all tourists. Tad our tour guide was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the ship. His delivery of the information and how he incorporated the local legends and ghosts stories was great. He kept everyone engaged and showed a genuine interest of everyone on tour that day. We booked our tour at sunset and he is correct.....there is something extra special and majestic about that sunset on the flight deck. I would absolutely do this again.

Enjoyable time, dress... - Enjoyable time, dress comfortable and be ready to learn the haunted history of an amazing ship. This was our second time doing the tour, and really enjoyed our tour guide. He led us both times, 5 yrs apart and you can tell he’s passionate and knowledgeable both about spirits and the ship. Well done!

A great evening event - Our 7 pm tour was the perfect time to end up on the the landing deck to enjoy the sunset and then darkness and the aircraft and stories. It was cool to tour through all the inside compartments and hallways. Dave was a great host. It’s warm and stuffy inside so dress comfortably. Be prepared for ladders and stairs.

Loved touring the ship... - Loved touring the ship with such a small group. Dustin did a great job of describing what life would be like for those who went to war. He was good at sharing the stories of paranormal experiences there. Wish we had a little more time to see more areas of ship.

Our tour experience - Dress lightly and wear closed toe comfortable shoes! The tour was great and the tour guide, Dave, made it very fun. We got a history tour to start out, then we went and saw. Each section was broken up into detail and the tour guide made it feel as if you were reliving the moments.

Good trip - Great trip. I wish there was more time at the fort. Learned a lot but did not get to go through the museum. The Rangers that we talk to were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Beautiful night views - We really enjoyed the exclusive access to the views of the boat, bridge and harbor at night. Calling this a “ghost” tour seems somewhat far fetched as the majority of the tour is along the same routes that are seen during the day and only a small portion of the narration of our tour guide was related to ghosts. We did learn about the deaths aboard the ship which was probably something you don’t get to hear as much about during normal tours and did add to the ambiance. However, there were far fewer deaths aboard the ship than what you might expect. I will say— my husband woke up in the middle of the night after the tour and got sick and said he felt like he was on a boat and had “sea legs” which is really weird and makes you wonder about the paranormal influences! In my opinion, the most interesting parts of the boat we had to go right by (the models and re-enactments of different places such as the kitchen and doctors’ suites) while we were walking to the next destination on the tour. He did let us spend lots of time around the old air crafts to read history about them. We did enjoy our tour guides personality and he was very knowledgeable about the boat and people on it. This is a fun experience for people who want to see the boat at night but maybe aren’t wanting to read into significant amounts of history about the ship. It was also extremely hot and you had to walk up and down steep stairs so keep that in mind before booking!

Not worth it - We booked this experience and were very excited. We had trouble with getting an uber and were 4 minutes late. I even messaged the tour operator, alerting them about the issue and being 4 minutes late. When we arrived, the tour had left and the gate attendant wouldn’t even let us catch up. She could have at least guided us in. We even heard the tour director talking about us via the walkie when we got there. There should be a small grace period, especially with travelers requiring transportation. The central office was nice enough to refund us, but the actual gate attendant and tour director were not accommodating at all.
