Fantastic Excursion - Went out on 4th Jan with Leif (Guide) & Henry (Super Jeep) and had a great trip. The super jeep ride was good fun and thankfully my brain didn't have time to confur with my eyes and give me motion sickness as the scenery was far too distracting and the driving too entertaining. The icecaves themselves were really impressive and even more so when you understand the effort required by the tour guides to set them up and maintain access them. Definitely work adding to your itinerary if yoy have time well worth the money.

Excellent experience and... - Excellent experience and knowledgeable guide. He was funny and made the shuttle to the glacier memorable. The winter views of the cave are breathtaking and definitely worth it.

Would recommend, no questions - This is such a fun and unique experience! The scenery is unbelievable and when else are you going to visit a natural ice cave and drink fresh glacial water? Leiver was the best tour guide...10/10. His expertise with off roading on the way to the glacier and with exploring the ice cave is unparalleled. He knows it like the back of his hand. He wanted us to have the best experience and we did.

Highly recommend Alex! - We loved our tour of the Katla ice cave! The cave was a little smaller than expected but reasonable in October. Our kids loved hiking up to the cave and across the glacier. Alex was absolutely phenomenal and so great with our kids; we all absolutely adored him. He was a wealth of knowledge and had so many interesting things to share about Iceland and Katla. We felt so lucky and grateful to have him as our guide! Would definitely recommend.

Highlight, good with kids - Highlight of our trip. The pickup and drop off were smooth. We had a 13yo, 10yo, and 6yo with us and it felt safe and well-done.

Awesome experience! - Pickup point is actually BEHIND the building. Should be mentioned since Google maps only gets you to the front lot. Once you're in the ride takes about 30 min to get to the first stop so you can take some breathtaking photos for about 10-15 min. Then you get to the base of the glacier and gear up and you're off to the caves. There is a short hike up the glacier and then you go through a couple caves with beautiful views.

Amazing! Beware the hike! - It was a fun time! The super jeep was bumpy but kind of a blast. I did not expect the difficulty and precariousness of the hike to the ice cave. The cave itself is small but it was still really cool. Our guide was amazing!

I got to walk on a glacier and go in an ice cave! - Our guide was great, but the ride out there is alot rougher than I expected it to be. I thoroughly enjoyed the ice cave, but my husband and our friends were hoping it would be larger. Maybe because we went in September and it was warm that the pictures are not as spectacular as the photos on the ad. I would recommend it in the winter, spring, or early summer. However, I got to touch a glacier :-)
