Fun Safe and worth it - I am a solo traveler. I was a bit hesitant at first but as soon as I met the guide Douglas I felt comfortable. He came and picked me up. We planned out the days events and went at our own pace. I have a hard time hiking down due to my vision but he helped me every step the way. Enjoyed traveling across the island on a motor bike as well. I had a blast. If you are solo so t hesitate.

Informative and Enriching Experience - Donald was lovely and informative. Used both Spanish and English with me. We had many interesting conversations about Nicaragua’s nature, people, and history.

BEST tour ever!!! - This Day Tour was the best experience i’ve had in Nicaragua. Donald and Franklin are amazing people and even better tour guides! My friends and I got to see everything we wanted to see along with enough time at every spot for our own exploration and for pictures. We ate food at Donald’s family home and to this day I think about his Wife’s cooking ! The best food on the island and the sweetest people I have ever met. Not only were the connections and experiences so special and worth it but we learned so much at the Museum del Cabo I truly fell even more in love with the island. The guys were kind enough to take us to a Pulperia on our way back to our accommodation and they even made a video for us of our day:)) I also booked several transportation services with the people I met through this day tour and everyone was amazing 10/10!

A great tour - It was a perfect day, adapted to what I care about most. I’d strongly recommend this tour to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time to discover the island and wants to check out the main spots.
Donald was a great guide who made it all the more safe and enjoyable.

First time on Ometepe?? YOU'VE GOT TO TRY THIS!! Perfectly planned 1st day experience that hits all major spots going around the - Had such a blast with my cool guide, Donald! It's got all you need: food, culture, vibes and quite the treat to end the day!

Such a Great Day! - Donald is the man! I am so glad I booked this full day tour of Ometepe. He picked me up from my accomodation at 0830 and then I spent the day on the back of his motorbike touring the cultural and natural highlights of the island ending at Playa Mango fot sunset. For lunch, I had a delicious lunch prepared by his lovely wife and met his adorable kids! For a bonus, he actually attempted (bless him, haha) to teach me how to ride a motorbike. I was hopeless, but it was so fun to try and good idea I hadn't just rented one thinking I could learn on the fly. Anyhow, I actually think it was an amazing deal since I could customize the itinerary and since I had a short time on Ometepe--compared to speaking to others--I did more on my day with him than many do in several days. Wholeheartedly recommend! Muchos Gracias Donald and Happy Tours!

Island Day tour - Highly recommend the day tour of the island. Especially if you don’t want to hike up a volcano. However; Happy Tours does that too. We contacted very last minute and they were able to get a guide to give us the tour of the island. We saw all the spots we wanted to see. Juan was our guide . He speaks English as well and we both got to practice Spanish and English 😉. They were willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. The family cooked lunch was really good too !
