Excellent guide, that provided an amazing experience. - We had a small issue with the meeting point, but as I've experienced on other tours, it appears to be a viator and not a tour operator issue. It was fixed with a quick message to Viator and the exact meeting point is the ticket office at Churchgate train station. Rakesh was an excellent guide and provided a day of memorable experiences. All 3 activities were fascinating, as was the local train and taxi rides. I would definitely recommend Rakesh and the tour to anyone visiting Mumbai.

see a different side of the city - A very interesting and eye-opening tour in Mumbai with many surprising moments. It was exciting to see the different side of the city and learn so many background stories and insights. At times, we felt like we were part of a documentary. Our guide Hardik was incredible warm, friendly and knowledheable and he made this tour something special. Highly recommended!

Not to be missed - Wonderful and instructional tour today with Hardip who is very knowledgeable and very charismatic. He explained everything and took us to his house in the slum where his family work and liver as potters. His mother made a special dish for us and we had a try on the potters wheel. A trip not to be missed.

Eye-Opening and Safe Experience - I went on a tour with Nayan Kamliya and had an absolutely wonderful experience. He is a genuinely kind, respectful, and professional guide, and I felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. Nayan shared fascinating stories and gave real insight into the lives of people living, which made the experience deeply meaningful and eye-opening. On top of that, he takes excellent photographs!

Do this tour - This was one of the best tours I did in India. Rakesh is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and fun. The laundry tour was really fascinating and gave a real insight into its operation. The same with the Dabbawallas. Seeing how industrious people are in Dharavi was an eye opener. It was just a great tour.

Great experience - We booked the Dhobi Ghat & Dharavi Slum Tour with optional lunch and pottery workshop and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour started at Churchgate station, where our guide Rakesh enthusiastically took us into the story of the Dabbawalas and their unique lunchbox system. The local train ride to Dhobi Ghat was a fun and authentic experience. On site we got a detailed explanation and walked through the narrow streets where thousands of garments are washed every day. The ensuing tour in Dharavi was also very interesting, with several stops at small-scale industries where we were explained about recycling and local production, and where we could occasionally taste something or try it out ourselves Lunch at a local family was a huge must and a very warm experience. On the other hand, we found the pottery too short and no real added value. Rakesh was a fantastic guide. He is kind, patient and funny. He really takes his time to explain clearly and answer questions. Definitely recommended!

Book with this company - I have been in Mumbai for five days and have been on various tours here. I wish I had booked my other tours with this company as this tour and Rakesh, the guide, we're excellent. Couldn't have asked more of a tour.
