You will see and learn so much about the Beautiful city Munich and Bavaria and the history at Hitler time! - Ursula was our Tour guide, and we have never been so captivated by all her stories and explanations making the experience incredible. You can see how passionate she is and how much she loves her city Munich! We just landed the day before the tour after 24h in 2 planes, but her enthusiasm easily kept us awake for the whole 2-hour drive. We were lucky enough that the snow melted the week we went so we could go to the Eagle's Nest! We both have bad knees, so did not do all the hikes with Ursula, who is so fit! But we recommend it! The landscape is amazing, and the stories even better! On the drive back, Ursula kindly let all of us have a rest after all the excitement, with no more comments or explanations, and kindly just woke us up with the sound of a small cow bell when we were back in Munich! Loved it!

Munich with friends - A bit of a long bus ride from Munich, about 2 hours. There is a toilet on the bus and an option to purchase beer on the bus. Use the toilet on the bus before getting off to go up to the Eagles Nest because there isn’t much time to waste before ascending to the summit to the Eagles Nest. Absolutely beautiful views at the top and a great restaurant at the top as well.

Eagle's Nest Tour - The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and informative throughout the tour. The bus ride was very scenic. We would have enjoyed more time to explore the the museum and bunkers at Berchtesgaden. Skipping lunch at the restaurant and acking snacks or a lunch to avoid the lunch delay would have allowed us sufficient time explore both the bunkers and museum. Overall we enjoyed the tour.

Worth seeing - Wonderful to see history from this vantage point. The most beautiful place in the world yet many of the most deplorable acts and decisions made there are deplorable.

Really Disappointed - Ursula was a great guide, as well as the bus driver. We were not able to make it to the Eagles Nest which was a huge disappointment, the reason for the trip. I wish Viator had informed us, and I probably wouldn't have gone. We drove 2 hours there and back, only to go to the Documentation Centre. Most of the centre is reading signs, which I can do on the internet. The bunkers were cool.

Eagles nest was closed.... - Eagles nest was closed. They didn’t not confirm this until we were on the bus 30 minutes. They replaced eagles nest with the salt mines. This was a fun activity but we had 2 in our group with claustrophobia. They would never have been able to participate in the salt mines. They spent all day on a bus to do nothing
