You will spend 3 hrs at the Memorial and be given historical context about the site by your guide. All areas of the site will be covered including barracks, Crematorium and gas chamber, bunker punishment block and maintenance building, with historical context given. Time will also be allocated for the excellent museum exhibition.
- Marienplatz - Relax, your guide will escort you all the way back to the original start point at Marienplatz at approximately 2pm. You can of course depart anywhere on the train journey back including Munich main station.

Amazing tour with an amazing guide - Alun is an amazing tour guide. He's been doing this for almost 20 years. This is a long tour, but Alun does a great job getting folks from Munich to Dachau and back and making each minute worth it. While at the site, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the material. What I think separates Alun from other tour guides is his ability to blend the heaviness and the importance of this topic. You can tell he has done his research and is incredibly passionate about this subject. As we walked the ground, he shared how the concentration camp started and went on all the way to the start of the liberation.

Fantastic personalized tour from Alun. - Alan was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge. Our train was a little behind but he used the time to talk about some of the details of the tour. He was very respectful of the history of Dachau and was able to answer the questions from the group.

Meaningful experience with a knowledgeable, passionate guide - Our tour of Dachau was fascinating. Meaningful, intense, thoughtful and seamlessly organized. Alun did a wonderful job bringing the history and horrors of Dachau to life with respect and obvious passion for this period of time. We felt privileged to visit to both honor the victims and better understand this tragic chapter of Germany's past. We felt grateful Alun was our guide from beginning to the end.

If you are wanting to learn more about Dachau and have a knowledgeable tour guide, Alun is your guy! - Could not have asked for a better tour guide in Alun! He was very knowledgeable and painted a picture into what life was like not only for the prisoners in the camp but what Germany was experiencing as a whole. His passion for history is evident and it was great being in a smaller group as well because you get a more personal experience. Plus he gives you some time to explore on your own as well.

Worth a visit - We found Alun to be very engaging with his audience and was knowledgeable about the topic. Would definitely recommend. We only had a small group of six and therefore it felt more comfortable.

Excellent guide & Excellent tour - Excellent guide! Could you go on your own? Yes. Would you get as much out of the tour? NO. We were guided from the time we met in Munich until the time we got back to Munich. He was very knowledgeable about the time period, Dachau and so much more. I can't recommend Alun enough!

Definitely Recommend Alun! - Alun did a great job leading the Dachau tour. Was great about explaining everything including background of how things all started all the way until liberation. Also great about answering questions, of which I had many and he answered every one. I felt like the answer helped me to understand what was going on so much better. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who would like a thorough and great tour.
