Great way to see Munich on a short stopover - The big bus stops at all of the main attractions and the time between buses is just enough. Great drivers and the audio information is excellent

Great Tour - A great day out in Munich , takes you all round the interesting monuments , museums , palaces etc , the guide was very informative and friendly. We opted to get off at Karlsplatz and had a walk around before a gentle stroll back to our hotel,the Marienplatz is definitely worth a visit So many beautiful and fascinating buildings which have survived despite the wars. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended.

The ride through the... - The drive through the city center gives a good overview and you can see a lot, but the given info would need a revision in terms of the topicality (e.g. 1.3 million inhabitants?) and should be adapted already seasonally, because in winter you can e.g. not see several already scaffolded statues etc. But it is still worth it and is also completely fine in terms of the ratio price to performance.

Dirty buses, quick way to see some highlights - While the bus was a great way to see some of the main parts of Munich in the day, like many other complaints, the frequency of services means if you get off you may be waiting for a long time to get back on particularly the Grand Circle pass. The audio commentary was very helpful and interesting although the cleanliness and condition of the buses very poor, particularly when the company claims otherwise. I’d skip the Grays Line and go with the Red Bus alternative.

App really needs work - I have excellent credit. I tried to use my Visa online. Tried 3 times. Failure. So waited in line, used Visa, went right through. By then, 50 customers got ahead of me. Hey Big Bus..hire real people if you can't create a user friendly website!

Not the best - This dreary tour has zero excitement. However it does waste a couple of hours if you haven't got anything to do. The commentary on both buses I took was out of sync and didnt work at the start of the tour. For instance we were supposed to be looking at a fountain when it was a monument. Unfortunately the driver who was so unhelpful insisted there was nothing wrong.

Based on so many reviews, I must have gotten on the wrong bus. - This could not have been more boring. It was so bad, I bought a 2 hour ticket and lasted about 20 minutes. Why? Listening to the narrative in the earpieces provided was the most minuteness woman's voice. "As we turn, look left to see this statue and right to see another" What was there was two wooden boxes covering something. And how many museums are their in Munich? Also, if you were on the upper deck, I was, the front window was fogged over. People wiped it down, but it didn't help much. By the third stop, I decided I needed to get off. I saw a good grouping of people and away I went only to find out that about a block away was the Christmas Market. Wouldn't it have been nice to the driver to share that? I enjoyed the market so much, I missed the 2 hour window of my tour.. Darn it. I've taken Hop-on Hop-Off buses everywhere I've been They are normally the best way to get an idea of the city and places to go back and visit. This was, without a doubt the worst ever and a complete waste of not only the tour cost, but also the cab fare spent to get to the starting point.

Terrible! No communication on route stops/transfers. - No explanation about route - as in, we “hopped on” at the Marienplatz stop, rode to next stop where we were told to get off if we wanted to continue on that route (the green line) and get on another bus. So we did, finding the correct bus. We had to wait for the driver about 10 or 15 minutes. Then once we boarded, we had to wait about a half an hour before we left. So, no communication about that, and lots of delay. We just wanted to get off at the English garden and ended up getting off a stop early because we didn’t feel like waiting around any longer. Terrible experience. Pick the other hop on hop off bus. Don’t do this one.

Scam!!! They sell this to you online and everything says you will have 24hrs to use it. They don’t mean it!! - Very disappointed!! Purchased one Sunday afternoon at 3p knowing the tour stopped at 5:45p and I was planning to go back the following morning to finish the tour. When I tried the next morning my ticket no longer worked. There is no customer service on-site. They state in many locations that the tickets are good for 24hrs. They don’t mean it!!!!

Worst experience ever - Don’t waste your money. We sat on the bus for over an hour and only made it to 1 stop. We were told to move to a different bus and it just sat at the stop with a few of us on it for over 30 minutes. I have no idea how they’re still in business
