Exceptional History, Seamless Cycling, and an Outstanding Guide - Our experience on the Munich City Bike Tour & Beer Garden Lunch Stop was nothing short of exceptional, led by our outstanding guide, Dan. Despite a surprisingly brisk morning, the tour began on a high note when the team thoughtfully provided gloves to ensure our comfort—a gesture that was greatly appreciated. Navigating the city streets felt entirely seamless and secure under Dan’s expert guidance, allowing us to focus fully on the sights. Dan is a remarkably gifted narrator of history. He managed the city’s complex and deep-seated past with profound sensitivity, particularly regarding the events of World War II. His ability to convey such significant historical context with both grace and poise was truly impressive. A particular highlight was cycling through the expansive Englischer Garten and concluding with a delicious lunch at a local beer garden. While I had initially been concerned that the historical depth might not resonate with my two young adult sons, they were both thoroughly engaged and spoke highly of the experience afterward. We felt we gained a comprehensive overview of Munich in a single afternoon. I cannot recommend Dan and this tour highly enough for families seeking an insightful and professional introduction to the city. Finally, I must mention a moment that truly defined Dan’s character. When I realized I was short on cash for a tip and offered to send it digitally, Dan simply suggested that I give that amount to someone local who truly needed it. It was an incredibly honorable and selfless gesture that left a lasting impression on my family. Dan is not just a master of history; he is a class act. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Munich.

Fantastic! - The bike tour was absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Dan is absolutely first-rate. He looked after us perfectly with just the right balance of humour, explanation and education. Dan was joined by Simon who was also very good. Thank you Dan and Simon for a really fantastic bike ride.

Great tour, but mind the weather! - Despite the February snow (I would recommend doing this outside of the winter months!) Dan was a great tour guide and an entertaining and informative host. I would heartily recommend this tour in more forgiving weather.

Amazing tour with a great guide - This tour was excellent and a highlight of the trip to Munich. Tour guide Rob was energetic, numerous and knowledgable... what more can you ask for. Should.have done this as the first thing we did in Munich, not the last. No better way to see the city. I shouldn't have had the 1L beer at the beer garden at the lunchbreak on a 1 degree day...

See Munich the way locals do… From behind the handlebars of a bicycle - We had a great tour today with Karl. He was engaging and knowledgeable. I loved that he grew up in München because it gave extra color to the tour when other guides may not have first hand expertise.
