A great starter for your Munich trip - We had a great start to our Munich trip by jumping on the Munich City Hop-on Hop-off Tour. We did the short round town trip then stayed on for the longer journey. It was best for giving us good context for our Munich stay and discover what to see in detail. The bus was clean and tidy, hats off to the driver, navigating through the tricky streets of Munich. We recommend the Gray Line Münchener - Munich City Hop-on Hop-off Tour.

Good, but pricy for a smaller city! - It was convenient to have a bus pass to get around to some of the bigger sites in Munich-- I think the round-trip transportation from the train station area to Nymphenburg Palace alone was probably enough for me to justify the hefty price tag. But be aware there are only 7 stops on the green line-- not like 20+ as in a big city like London. The orange line is good if you want to go to the palace or the Olympic Park and would rather skip the subway and avoid going the taxi or ride share route. But it also only has 4 stops. I saw lots of reviews saying the audio wasn't synced up- I didn't have an issue with that. The drivers are friendly, the buses are easy to spot (once you realize some say Gray Line and some say Big Bus, but it's all the same thing now) and I like that the app shows you where the buses are on the route.

Good view of the sights of Munich - The route was fine but there could have been more commentary, especially at the beginning. More about the history of Munich and the buildings early in the route. The online map was helpful when we got off at one stop and wanted to get back on at a different stop.

Hopped On, Stayed Off - Nice service, similar to any other Hop On Hop off. We took the Green Line (City) route. Efficient although a little slow. Overall a fair experience.

There is up to 20 minutes... - There is up to 20 minutes waiting time at the first stop. The audio tour did not start for us right away. Helps see a lot in a short period of time.

City tour to get a view of the city - A mediocre bus tour around parts of the city. Informative service that reads out its content at said locations. Somewhat feisty driver who honked and bickered with other road users - albeit well founded, it is not so nice for us tourists. This experience must be made much better than it is today. You have a beautiful living city to tell us about, but you go on and on about buildings and years.

Check all reviews before booking and look at other options - Busses are few and far between and the final bus driver was was rude about tickets and was very impatient when we had to get them out. He didn’t stop at the stop more than 2 minutes. When we got to the transfer station the bus driver was such a bad driver that he slammed on the breaks and threw my wife and another gentlemen from their seat into the aisle. Not only was the driver rude and inconsiderate, he also almost caused injury to his passengers. You need to do better. If the office wasn’t closed when we arrived I would have demanded a refund. This is not acceptable. This company needs to be reviewed and check for safety concerns. Do not use this company. There are other busses that have better option, and I would book through them. I am hoping someone from the company reaches out because this was a terrible and scary experience for my family especially my two children.

Terrible service and commentary. - There are very few buses on the orange line to continue your tour. Waiting one hour between buses is unacceptable. Our last driver was rudei O patient and a rough driver. Probably tired but no excite. He demanded front door. Well.. the first driver opened the middle door so we went in the same way. Don’t waste your money. Very sparse commentary on the ride. Use another service.
