Trip to Dachau Consentration Camp.. - Today my older son and I took the 9am tour to Dachau Consentration with Iain our tour guide (group of 18 people). Our trip I have to rate 10/10 all due to Iains exception knowledge and professionalism. A trip to Dachau is extremely important from a historical perspective and sure its emotional but Iain provided the best experience. Radius Tours in Munich you guys are the best 👌 👍

A+ 5 Stars Highly Recommend! - Jake was an exceptional guide for the WWII Walking Tour and Dachau Concentration Camp tour. He's a very knowledgeable about the history, engaging with the group, funny and serious all when it can be a somber topic. This tour provided a greater insight to the Dachau Memorial than you'd get if you did if self-guided, but it might be worth a revisit if you are someone that likes to take time and read all the signs. The walking tour was interesting following the build up of the Nazi party. Jake provided a lot for pictures to show the then vs now since many of the sites were bombed or had historic components that have since been removed. Jake provided a lot of information, answered questions and provided a lot of books or movies to look into associated with the history we learned about. For someone with a short amount of time in the city I felt like this was a bang for buck experience.

Outstanding all-day experience - Incredibly moving and informative visit to Dachua Concentration Camp Memorial Site in the morning followed by a lengthy 3-hour walking tour of various significant WWII sites around the city of Munich in the late afternoon. The entire day ran from 9am to 6pm so it is very physically demanding but well worth it. The entire tour consisted of two separate parts separated by a 1-hour break in between that gave us time to rest and have some lunch at a nearby restaurant (lunch is not associated with the tour operator). Attendees should be aware that the group uses a combination of public train and bus transportation to get to and from Dachau (all paid for by the tour operator) but everything else is on foot. You need to be in good physical condition for all the walking and standing, bring water/snacks, and appropriate clothing for the day. Would highly recommend this tour combination. Our tour guides (Achim for the Dachau portion and Josh for the WWII portion) were excellent and full of relevant knowledge of the subjects and the history behind them. Josh, in particular, is an academic in the field and had a wealth of knowledge about WWII and the Nazi regime.

Great Dachau tour. - Our tour to the Dachau Concentration camp with Jake was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the camp and the historical events that lead to the Nazi’s rise to power in Germany and the subsequent oppression, imprisonment and and elimination of of it’s untermenchen and “enemies of the state”. My wife and I are glad we booked this tour and would totally recommend it to those interested in world war 2 history.

Great tour, recommend - Jake was an excellent tour guide who was knowledgeable and understanding with regards to the weight and darkness of the visit. His personal journey was a good compliment as he had valuable first hand experiences that supported the history he explained.

Amazing tour guides - This tour was broken up in two parts so we had 2 different tour guides, Nick and Jake. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable and did such a great job keeping us engaged with all the information we get gave us. The history here is so heavy but it needs to be shared. The company was organized.
