Comfortable day trip to see the castles - This tour was good. We got to see Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castle. Plus our guide Jackie told us some history about both sites. We enjoyed her storytelling and humor. Well organized and managed.

Great tour - Good tour. If you want to make the best of it. Take lunch with you. That will buy you extra time. Then you can go visit extra places at the Neuschwanstein area. We had sit down lunch which we enjoyed a lot but after that we only had time for the main castle. There are 3 castles in the area.

Great tour - At first I was quite worried because the tour operator didn't contact me prior to the trip as other operators in asian countries. So I went to the meeting point early and surprisingly many people came early as well, the bus was full hence departed earlier than scheduled (8.20am). So when in Germany, learn the German way - be punctual then no worry :)) The trip was wonderful, the view was like winter wonderland. The tour operation was great, the driver Smiley and tour lady (I forgot the name) were gentle, and nice. Strongly recommended.

An Experience of a Lifetime! - What a wonderful experience! Being able to have Viator provide a private coach transfer and to buy our tour tickets on the bus was such a stress reliever. We were so happy with both castle tours, and especially loved the Neuschwanstien Castle. As a bonus, Christine, our tour guide, gave a great history lesson explaining what we were about to see. We always use Viator to plan our excursions and are never disappointed. Be sure to read the fine print of your reservation - some people didn’t realize the tour tix were not included and did not have the Euros to buy them. You must have Euros for these, as other currencies and cards are not accepted! Be sure to bring food snacks, as the bus rides are 1 - 2 hours and they only have drinks available for purchase.

Neuschwanstien castle and Linderhof palace day tour - Overall the rour was good. The palace was small and most of the outdoor Satatues were covered during winter. The castle area was much greater and more to see. I wish we had more time at the castle than the palace.

Great tour but disappointed we didnt make it to Mary's Bridge (Marienbrücke) - Monika was an outstanding guide—she communicated clearly, gave precise instructions, and demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge. However, one aspect of the tour affected my overall experience. While she mentioned that the access path to Mary's Bridge (Marienbrücke) was open, she didn’t suggest that we walk directly to the bridge before heading to the castle entrance. Had we known, there would have been plenty of time to do so. Instead, we unknowingly spent time at the kiosk below and leisurely made our way up to the castle, which felt like a missed opportunity. Since this was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us, we were disappointed not to have had the chance to visit the bridge as planned.

Fairytale Visited - Wonderful Tour, loved hearing the history behind the castle. Lot of walking and climbing stairs on the tour, not for someone who is not fit.

Not a good experience - We didn’t get to go on this prepaid tour. It was unclear where to meet and the bus sailed by us as we tried to flag it down. The company was unwilling to help us or even let us join later -after we traveled by train to the same area.

Dissatisfied with services received - I was unable to reach the host to inform them that our travel plans had changed and that we would meet at Neuschwanstein Castle instead of taking the bus. I called over 20 times (I have call logs with dates and times before 8:30 AM on December 28, 2024), tried the chat forum, and contacted Viator customer support three times for assistance, but they were also unable to get a response. I waited for the buses to arrive, but they informed us that we could not take the tour at that location because we hadn’t contacted them in advance to account for passengers boarding the bus. I paid a significant amount of money and received nothing while at the location.
