A great tour that is not to be missed - Courtney, our guide, was a perfectly bilingual Canadian woman with good humour, thorough knowledge, and great pacing. She was invaluable.

Recommended - Our day was filled with wonderful views of the countryside as well as the opportunity to tour the two castles. The weather was raining, however, it did not deter our group. Monika, our guide, was an excellent host. Our driver, Erol, was very versed in the route and offered us safe passage throughout the day. Loved the VIP treatment with the beautifully appointed motor coach as well as snacks and light beverages. Monika offered us a wealth of information and history on Ludwig as well as the surrounding area. Thank you for a memorable day!

Fun Bavarian Experience - Great experience! Johnny and Savon were both super kind and knowledgeable. Overall great day! Just know, if they don’t stop in Obbergammau (winter season), you have an extra hour at Newschawnstein.

Johnny and Vladi were... - Johnny and Vladi were fantastic! Super knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure you wear good shoes and bring some euros for a shuttle bus from the charter bus to the castle.

All the sites and Monika (our host) were wonderful - Monika was a wonderful host - she kept my whole family captivated. She took the time to really explain everything we were doing and necessary timelines. We would absolutely do this again!

Very Good Tour - Both my daughter and I really enjoyed the tour. The bus was very comfortable and the tour guide, Johnny, and the bus driver, Vladi, we very informative and attentive. Bring euros to take the shuttle to the castle. We just brought our credit card and while on the bus we were told we needed cash to get to the castle. It worked out, but something I wish I would have known in advance to be prepared. Would recommend.

You can find a better provider/option to visit the castles - I saw another company (that we used for other tours - Radius Tours) offering this tour for less than half of what we paid from this provider! (We noticed after we already booked.) While I liked the locations we went to, I do not think this company added any value. Their rep did not actually give the tours, he just took us to the locations. He even said at the end of Newschwanstein we would all walk to the bus together, but that didn't happen and we got a little lost. I wouldnt waste money with this company and find one that is not just a middleman.

Consider a cheaper tour. - Do not book the premium tour. It’s not premium, the group size is very large (30), there are no queues to jump (at least in March) and it feels a bit rushed. The tour guide was competent but the tour company is just greedy. The tickets came to 29 euros. How much is a comfortable coach worth to you?
