The journey begins with a 90 to 120-minute walk through the tea plantations. Upon reaching the hilltop, the trek continues for a couple of hours along the ridge, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including grasslands, a rocky mountain slope on one side, and tea plantations with patches of Shola forest on the other. The journey begins with a 90 to 120-minute walk through the tea plantations. Upon reaching the hilltop, the trek continues for a couple of hours along the ridge, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including grasslands, a rocky mountain slope on one side, and tea plantations with patches of Shola forest on the other. On a clear day, trekkers can see Anaimudi, the highest peak in South India, and the Idukki Dam, one of the highest arch dams in Asia and the third tallest in India. Refreshments, including fruits and snacks, will be provided. The trek passes through the Nature Zone nature resort, where exotic spices like coffee and cardamom can be seen. The journey continues to the highest peak at 2000 meters before descending through the Shola forest for about 10 minutes back to the tea plantation. The trek concludes with another 90 to 120-minute walk through the tea plantations, reaching an elevation of approximately 2000 meters above sea level.
