Upon reaching the hilltop, the trek continues for a couple of hours along the ridge, offering stunning panoramic views. This path leads through grasslands, with a rocky mountain slope on one side and tea plantations, interspersed with patches of Shola forest, on the other. On a clear day, trekkers can admire Anaimudi, the highest peak in South India, and the Idukki Dam, renowned as one of the highest arch dams in Asia and the third tallest in India. A refreshing picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a suitable spot during the trek. The route passes through the Nature Zone, where exotic spices such as coffee and cardamom can be observed. The trek concludes with another 60 to 90-minute walk through the tea plantations, reaching a maximum elevation of approximately 1950 meters MSL.
