- Mattupetty Dam - Guests will be collected from their hotel and transported to Mattupetty Dam, located 8 miles from Munnar. This dam features a stunning artificial lake and provides breathtaking views of Munnar’s valleys. It is a haven for various bird species, offering a delightful bird-watching experience. Visitors can enjoy some leisure time here and also take a boat ride on the lake.
- Echo Point - The next destination is Echo Point, located on the banks of a charming river. Visitors can experience the excitement of hearing their echo while appreciating the surrounding scenic beauty.
Following Echo Point, guests will be driven to Kundalam Dam. Here, they can enjoy a leisurely walk along the artificial lake. The dam’s summit offers a sweeping view of the lush green hills encircling it.
The journey continues to Top Station, the highest point in Munnar, standing at 5,500 feet above sea level. The mountain is enveloped in misty white clouds, giving it a floating appearance.
After spending time at Top Station, guests can have lunch (at their own expense) at a local restaurant.
- Kurinjimala Wildlife Sanctuary - The final stop of the day is the Kurinjimala Wildlife Sanctuary. Its name is inspired by the Neelakurinji flowers (Strobilanthes), which bloom once every 12 years. The sanctuary is home to several endangered animal species, including the Elephant, Gaur, and Nilgiri Tahr. Over 200 bird species can also be observed here, such as the Crested Serpent Eagle, Black Baza, Crested Goshawk, Spot Bellied Eagle Owl, Alpine Swift, and Nilgiri Flycatcher.
At the conclusion of the tour, guests will be driven back to Munnar and dropped off at their hotel.
