- Murdeira - You’ll have a well-rounded view of Sal by the end of this tour, and it all kicks off once you’re strapped in our 4x4. Set off along the west coast of the island, passing the rugged coastline around Murdeira and Buracona lagoon before reaching the port town of Palmeira. You’ll then turn inland, with the salt lake at Pedra de Lume in your sights.
