• Murdeira - Murdeira is centrally located on the island. Its bay features crystal-clear waters and is rich in corals, offering excellent conditions for snorkeling. Additionally, “Monte Leão,” one of the island’s most prominent landmarks, is easily visible from here.
• Espargos - Next, head north to explore the City of Espargos, where a local tour concludes with a panoramic view of the city from the belvedere.
• Palmeira - The journey continues to the fishing village of Palmeira, home to the island’s only port.
• Buracona: The Blue Eye of Cabo Verde Shop - East of Palmeira lies Buracona, a site with natural pools and a stunning volcanic rocky landscape. This setting allows visitors to witness the “Blue Eye” phenomenon. Between 11 am and 1:30 pm, sunlight enters a 20-meter-deep cave, creating the image of a brilliant blue eye gazing at the sky.
• Terra Boa - Further west on the island is “Terra Boa,” the sole area for agriculture, where visitors can experience another natural wonder, a “Mirage” in the desert.
• Espargos - On the return to Espargos, the route passes through the island’s outskirts, visiting social institutions like kindergartens and schools.

In Espargos, there will be a lunch break at the Spot restaurant, where guests can savor a traditional dish or enjoy one of the town’s best pizzas.

• Pedra de Lume - On the way back to the island’s west, visitors can observe lemon sharks in “Parda Bay” around 4 pm. Please remember to wear suitable footwear.
• Pedra de Lume Beach - Pedra de Lume is home to the renowned Salinas (Salt pans) located within an extinct volcano crater. At Salinas, visitors can bathe in the therapeutic waters.
