A Journey Through Time: The Forts and Souks of Oman

As I embarked on the Private Jebel Shams Tour from Muscat, I was filled with anticipation. The allure of Oman’s rich history and the promise of spiritual enrichment drew me in. Our first day was a tapestry of experiences, beginning with the picturesque Fanja Views. The landscape, a harmonious blend of nature and history, set the tone for our journey. The Majesty of Jebel Shams

Our journey continued to Jebel Shams, the Grand Canyon of Oman. As we ascended, the landscape unfolded like a divine canvas, each layer revealing the earth’s ancient secrets. The views from the top were nothing short of spectacular, a reminder of the Creator’s grandeur. Though we did not hike, the sheer majesty of the canyon was enough to stir the soul.

Our overnight stay at the Sama Sama resort was a delightful surprise. The Mountain View Cabin, with its panoramic vistas, offered a serene retreat. As I savored the flavors of the desert, including the exotic BBQ Camel Skewers, I reflected on the day’s journey. It was a reminder of the diverse tapestry of cultures and cuisines that make up this region.

A Tapestry of Heritage: Bahla Fort and Jabrin Castle

The second day of our tour was a continuation of our exploration of Oman’s rich heritage. Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stood as a monument to the ingenuity and craftsmanship of its builders. Its ancient walls, steeped in history, invited contemplation and reverence.

Jabrin Castle, with its intricate architecture and historical significance, was a fitting conclusion to our journey.
