• Muscat - The journey starts in Managher Village, perched at 2,100 meters in the Jabal Al-Akither Mountain. From this point, the path ascends to Qarn Wakan at 2,300 meters, before descending to Wakan Village, which is at 1,500 meters. Along the way, hikers will enjoy stunning views of Omani mountain farms and the picturesque landscape around Wakan Village. The entire hike covers 8 kilometers and usually takes between 4 to 6 hours to finish. After the refreshing trek, participants can relax in Wakan Village, enjoying traditional Omani coffee with locals and participating in a shooting activity. Overnight stay in Wakan.
• Muscat - Following a delightful traditional breakfast, the hike continues from Wakan Village towards Suwgra Village, situated in the Jabal Al-Akither mountain range. The trail offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Al-Hajer Mountains as it ascends from 1,500 meters to 1,900 meters. This challenging hike spans about 10 kilometers and takes approximately 6 to 8 hours to complete. The day ends with an overnight stay in the charming Suwgra Village, providing a peaceful retreat after the day’s adventure.
• Muscat - After a hearty breakfast, backpacks are prepared for the longest hike of the journey, setting off from Suwgra Village towards Al-Alia Village. The route passes through a stunning canyon, offering the chance to swim in one of the pristine blue pools nestled within. Continuing the hike, the path leads through Darr Village, one of the oldest and most remote villages in Oman, accessible only by foot, adding a sense of adventure and history to the journey. The trek covers a distance of 12 kilometers and takes about 6 to 8 hours to complete.
