- Jebel Shams - From Al Hamra village, ascend to Jebel Shams, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Oman, where you’ll enjoy a picturesque photo opportunity at the summit (no hiking required). After soaking in the breathtaking mountain vistas, return to Muscat.
Please note: The Jebel Shams tour is the longest day trip in Oman, offering some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the country.
- Al Hamra - Continue the journey to Jebel Shams Mountain. Then, enjoy a brief tour of a small museum in the ancient village of Al Hamra, where locals will demonstrate the traditional Omani lifestyle and other customs.
- Muscat - Conclude the trip with a scenic drive back to Muscat, which takes approximately 3 hours.

A perfect day in Oman - We with my daughter really enjoyed our day with Ali. He was very knowledgeable and we’ve got a lot to know about this beautiful country and its history. We never felt rushed and did feel taken care of. Don’t hesitate to book this tour

Fantastic day of wonderful landscapes - I had a great day, travelling alone. Mohammed was an excellent guide, very informative. We left Muscat at 7am and arrived in Nizwa in time to catch the end of the Friday goat market - well worth seeing. The souq was interesting and helpful to have a guide then sufficient time to look round the fort. The drive to the canyon view point is spectacular as is the canyon, amazing views. The village of Al Hamra is well worth visiting, more beautiful views and interesting fauna and irrigation system. Lunch was excellent at a local restaurant, reasonably priced. Altogether an excellent day, we were out for 11 hours.

Perfect trip to Nizwa heritage and spectacular views of Jebel Shams - We went on a wonderful trip to Nizwa and Jebel Shams with our perfect guide Said Al kiyumi. Said told us a lot of interesting information on our way and during sightseeing. Also he took some great pictures of us. We didn't rush through sights but rather comfortably explored the area. This full day trip is totally worth the money as the nature and the historical heritage are spectacular. It is hard to visit Jebel Shams on your own so it is better to go with an experienced driver and a prepared car for a safe ride. Thank you Said Al kiyumi and Oman Sharing Tours for such pleasant experience!

Overwhelming Oman!!! - It was an amazing experience. Special thanks to our Guide Shakir who took us to get us a view of cloudy (snow like) mountains at Jabel Shams , clear waters at Wadi Bani Khalid, Dolphins and Turtles at the Arabian sea , Heritage everywhere , Dunes at the Desert , Mouthwatering delicacies ,people as sweet like the Omani Dates and their coffee!!!

Best of Muscat - One of our best experience at Oman. Mr. Shakir was more a friend and a thorough professional. We learnt a lot about the history and cultural heritage throughout our journey. A must visit for any tourist at Muscat!

Nizwa fort and soqu, Al Hamra village, Jebel Shams - Said Al Kiyumi texted the day before to introduce himself. He arrived promptly in a clean, luxurious, air conditioned car, well stocked with bottled water. On our way to Nizwa he gave us the historical details about the fort and soqu. He’s well spoken, witty and with a good sense of humor. He anticipated our needs and ensured we saw all the sights ; never feeling rushed. We look forward to exploring more of Oman with him.
Rosa the booking rep was very helpful and knowledgeable about the trips. Mr. Mohamed, the owner of Oman Sharing Tour also called us to make sure we were pleased with the arrangement and services provided.
