- Wahiba Sands - After visiting Wadi Bani Khalid, the tour will continue to the Wahiba Sands Desert. Here, guests have the opportunity to visit a Bedouin family, enjoy coffee with them, and optionally ride a camel, followed by watching the sunset. The tour will then return to Muscat.
The Wahiba Sands Desert is a highlight of any visit to Oman. The stunning orange sand dunes provide a unique experience, particularly at sunrise and sunset.

A Worthwhile Adventure! - The Wadi is interesting to see, if nothing else to see the difference water can make in a desert. Now we know how an oasis can exist give a reliable source of water. The desert was equally interesting though we saw only its edge. The dunes are huge—far larger than we imagined. Our guide, Khalil is what made the 5 hours of traveling there and back worthwhile. We learned about Omani culture, the landmarks along the way, and the local lifestyle. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Further, he indulged our interest in finding a restaurant that served camel as a dish.

Fantastic day trip with the family - First of all, we want to thank our guide Ahmed who was a phenomenally kind, patient and informative guide for us.
My wife, mum and 10 month old baby really enjoyed this fantastic whole day experience. We were picked up Muscat and driven to Wadi Bani Khalid with stops along the way to show us a few historic sites, including souqs and the oldest bridge in Oman.
Once we reached the Wadi, we explored for as long as we liked, and then drove a little further for a buffet lunch near the desert.
When we reached the desert, we stopped off to explore a Bedouin market selling many different Omani souvenirs. We also took photos with the camels too! Others also enjoyed a camel ride but given we had a baby, decided against this option.
Afterwards, we drove a little further into the desert and stopped off waiting for the sunset, which was incredible.
All in all, a really enjoyable experience made all the better by our guide Ahmed. We would very highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Wadi Bani Khalid & Wahiba Sands Desert experience - This tour was absolutely amazing and perfectly organized. Wadi Bani Khalid was stunning, with crystal-clear water and beautiful scenery — a truly peaceful and refreshing stop. We had enough time to swim, relax, and fully enjoy the natural beauty of the wadi.
The desert experience in Wahiba Sands was just unforgettable. The drive across the dunes was exciting, the views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere of the desert was simply magical. Everything was handled with great professionalism and care, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the day.
Our guide Fauzi was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and always attentive to our needs. This tour offers the perfect balance between nature, adventure, and authentic Omani landscapes.
I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oman — an experience not to be missed 🏜️✨

An Unforgettable Private Journey to Wadi Bani Khalid and the Omani Desert at Sunset - We had an unforgettable private experience visiting Wadi Bani Khalid, followed by a breathtaking sunset in the desert. Everything was perfectly organized, relaxed, and tailored to our wishes, which made the day feel truly special and personal.
Ahmed Aljomily was an outstanding guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Oman. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning and always took the time to explain things, answer questions, and make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.
Wadi Bani Khalid was absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and beautiful scenery, and the desert sunset was simply magical — a moment we will never forget. We also decided to book a 30-minute camel ride on the spot (self-paid), which turned out to be a wonderful addition to the experience and a lot of fun.
Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for an authentic, well-organized, and memorable private tour in Oman with a guide who truly cares, we can highly recommend this experience with Ahmed.

Highly recommend!!! - My sister and I were lucky enough to have two tours led by Jihad. This was our first day and it was such a fun time. Swimming in the wadi was amazing and beautiful and going to the sands after was a unique experience as well! Very beautiful sunset and we got to experience some coffee and dates at a local Bedouin home which was very fun too. Jihad went above and beyond and made the long journey very fun and worthwhile. Highly recommend this tour while in Oman!

Road trip - We had booked a gantage tour and got to know very different things. We visited Wadi Bani Khalid, enjoyed the Bedouin hospitality and the sunset in the desert. Our guide Amer went to great lengths throughout the tour to bring us closer to the land and people. Our absolute recommendation for people visiting Oman.

Interesting! - Interesting trip with Khalid who told us more about Oman and the culture. Long journey (3 hours) to Wadi Bani Khalid where we swam in the amazing pools amongst enormous rocks. Then an hours drive to Wahiba sands where we saw camels and had a 4WD up the dunes to watch the lovely sunset. Khalid looked after us well and we enjoyed seeing and experiencing more of the country.
