Mussoorie is a stunning hill station, often referred to as the ‘Queen of Hills.’ Captain Frederick Young established Mussoorie around 1820. He was the first to construct a house in East Mussoorie and later began cultivating potatoes on a farm now known as Landour Market. From 1820 to 1940, the British constructed numerous schools, roads, and air houses in Mussoorie. The Mussoorie walking tour begins at Library Chowk and concludes at the opposite side of Mussoorie, known as Picture Palace. The walk takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, during which a guide provides insights into the mountains and historical sites encountered along the way. Many places built during the British era still exist in Mussoorie today.
