During this excursion, you’ll see more facets of Uluru, all while engagingly understanding its environmental aspects, historical background, geological features and the native Indigenous culture.
- Minimum age is 12 & children need to be accompanied by an adult
- This activity is not recommended for those aged over 65 years old.
- This activity is an adventure activity and as such participants must;
- weigh between 45-117kg (99-257 pounds)
- be fit enough to ride a bicycle
- be free from serious vision/balance impairments, illness or injury that may impact your ability to Segway.
- This activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with a history of serious spinal injury.
- Not recommended for those who do not have the fitness to ride a bicycle.

Segways tour around the base of Uluru - The Segway tour around Uluru is an incredible way to experience the iconic rock up close. Gliding effortlessly along the base, you get breathtaking views of Uluru’s sheer size and ever-changing colors while learning about its cultural significance from knowledgeable guides. The Segways make the journey smooth and fun, allowing you to cover more ground without tiring. It’s a perfect mix of adventure, history, and natural beauty—highly recommended for anyone visiting the Red Centre!

Get way to go around the Rock! - So great to travel around the Rock in Style and see many attractions.
Easy to learn and many fun following the Tour Leader and others. If the Rock is closed to the Segway (due to rainand wet track) then they take you Half Way around the Rock mainly on the Road and give you a partial refund.

Charlie and Brittany tour guides 10/10 - No words can describe our experience from start to finish! To start, booked our tour at Town Centre at Ayers Rock Resort with the wonderful Charlie who gave us tips, tricks and reassurance about the tour. She was such an incredible pleasure to deal with and she was the delightful beginning of what would be the most incredible tour. On the tour we had Miss Brittany. Brittany guided us all away around the base of Uluru and made it the most incredibly moving experience for us. Her authentic storytelling was delivered with passion and we loved it. Overall the tour itself is breathtaking and moving. But these two girls took our experience to another level.

Worth the money and then some - This tour was the coolest thing to do and a great way to see Uluru without the exhaustion….so well organised. Watch the sunrise with a basic but fulfilling brekkie then off to the rock to learn our Segway skills…..our tour guide Charli was sensational…..knowledgable, funny and made the morning a totally enjoyable experience.
Cannot recommend this highly enough.

Stunning sunrise. Good choice to look around Uluru - The Segway tour was really fun, and our guide, Nick, was very friendly. It was my first time riding a Segway, so I was a bit worried, but he taught us well and gave us time to practice, making it easy to learn.
As we toured around Uluru, we stopped at various spots where he shared fascinating myths about the rock.
Breakfast was plentiful, with coffee, tea, muffins, and cereal. We enjoyed our meal while watching the sunrise, which was absolutely stunning.
If we had explored on foot, it would have been too hot. Choosing the Segway was definitely a great decision!

Awesome!!! - What a great experience, would highly recommend this trip. Our guide, Brittany, was fantastic, she brought the trip to life at each of the stops we made with the history and stories of the rock.
The Segway was easy to ride and I’m sure at lot better than walking or cycling around.
This is a once in a lifetime trip that you should definitely do.

Great tour highly enjoyable - Wonderful tour with Brittney as our guide. Prompt pick up from our hotel and onto Uluṟu for a delicious breakfast whilst watching the sunrise. Then after a short practice on the Segway we started the tour. They are easy to ride and it’s a wonderful way to see and experience all of Uluru. As the morning goes on you can feel the heat so being on a Segway is perfect compared to walking in the heat. Great tour would highly recommend to others. Lots of opportunities to stop for photos along the way.

Great way to see the circumference of Uluru - The breakfast was good though fairly basic (which is to be expected - croissants, muffins and meusli with hot coffee and tea). The viewing location of the Uluru sunrise was slightly obstructed with trees, but was still very beautiful (and obviously the tour company can’t do anything about the trees)
The Segway tour was excellent with friendly guides. It was a great way to do a full circumference tour around Uluru

Fantastic experience, would highly recommend. - Fantastic experience, would highly recommend. Our tour guide Nick was great and very knowledgeable about the area. Full training provided on the safe use of the segway and all safety equipment provided.
