Very family friendly,... - Very family friendly, clean and safe for children of all ages. Lifeguards very conscientious of water safety. Great service by wait staff. Clean restrooms that were serviced often.

Great place to enjoy with family. - Kuza Beach was a great place to visit with the family. I do think it is a bit over priced . While the food and drinks were decent , it wasn't exceptional and definitely not worth the price. The Beach is beautiful and really enjoyed our time there. The water park was good for the kids. We spent a few hours there and then enjoyed the beach. Service was decent however a better system has to be implemented at the snack bar. There truly is no need to wait 20 to 30 mins for chips and salsa and pre-made quesadillas.

A bit pricey, but good if you don't know what else to do in Cozumel and want great beach access. - Took a Taxi to KUZA from the Cruise Port for $35 (Family of four) on a Wednesday. The ride was about 20 minutes, we arrived about 10:30 am. There was no line to get inside, ample seating around the water park area and we were tended to by Andres for drinks. The restroom were clean, the park was clean. We played at water park and had some food from the "buffet" which is more like a concession stand, before heading to the beach area. Took the provided shuttle from the water park to the beach about 12:30. The beach was fuller than the water park, but we still found beach chairs close to the water. There were performers in Mayan costume taking photos for tips and interacting with guests. Changing rooms, restrooms, and showers all near the beach clean and easy to access. Overall we had a good experience. Pros: clean, friendly, safe, easy to access, fun for our 4 year and 10 year old, staff was great, no lines for water slides or entry. Cons: smaller than expected, a bit spendy for what it is, food was really not great.

Grest experience at the park. Really bad food - I am giving 4 stars because the food was really bad. The snacks at the water park were old and really bad. The quesadillas and fish were cold, the fish full of flour and with ni taste at all. Beside that, the staff super nice, the water park was super fun for the kids and the beach is gorgeous. If I will come back I will take only the beach entrance, as the water park increase the price a lot and only has 4 slides.

Ok, but I'd look elsewhere - Beach area is very nice. Water park was ok. It was nice because it was far less crowded than the beach. However, the lazy river was green and slippery and in need of a good cleaning. Although brand new, a 2x2 section of the pool bottom in the splash pad has already crumbled away. The food was not very good but was an unlimited buffet. I don't think the drinks had much alcohol and the frozen drinks always had large ice cubes in them like they weren't blended enough. It was nice for little kids but I'd probably choose one of the other all inclusive beaches next time.

Mixed review: some pros, some cons - Kuza was a fine beach day. Was happy to experience it as we'd watched videos trying to decide which place to spend our port day. Pros: Beach area is lovely. Workers work very hard to make it nice & keep drinks flowing. Adult only area has no umbrellas/shade or we would have spent the day there. The rest of the area was full of families having fun. Buffet was standard, nothing stand out, but decent. Drinks were also standard, our party was mixed on the drinks, some liked them, some didn't. But the workers worked hard to keep them refilled. Cons: Adult area has no shade. Tram system slow & not organized, it's a free for all getting into the tram, no systematic line. So if you're near the front, you may or may not get on the next tram as people scatter & jump on from all sides. Needs a controlled line. Had massage ladies coming up to us over & over asking if we'd like a massage, felt like we were on a public beach in that regard. Water park: we decided to do the water park at the end of our visit around 2:30 p.m. It was practically empty by this point, which seemed awesome. Mostly wanted to go into the lazy river. 1 couple was already in it but literally not moving. We asked the worker if the lazy river was broken & he said no. Watched a floating leaf to see if it was moving, it wasn't. Got in, it had the jets going but water wasn't moving. Couldn't figure out what was going on with the river. Decided to try the water slides. We're told at the bottom of the tower that 2 of the 4 slides we're not working. So each couple did the outer tube slides. After 1 slide down each wanted to try the other slide that the other couple had done & by then, one of those slides were not working. Then the other one broke. So literally the only slide working within 10 minutes of us trying to use them, was the yellow, straight down slide. Nothing else opened back up while we were there. Take away: Was nice to see Kuza. Would I return as adult only group? No. I would choose another tried and true Cozumel resort even if they're older. Beach area was nice & expansive & pretty at Kuza. Water park feels like Kuza built it fast & opened up before they worked out the kinks & were really ready to take on guests. Which actually makes me question the structure of it. But even with the quarks, we had a nice Beach day & were happy to see the new resort.

It was okay - The experience was okay. The water park has green water. Which smelled. The buffet does not open till 10am and same with bar. The park says it opens at 8am but it opens at 9 am. Staff at the beach were friendly. But the waiters at the water park were not so friendly. It says all inclusive. But it's not the case. They have a separate bar and food menu for "all inclusive". For the amount of money you spend, you just don't get the value. I don't think we will be going back.

Not worth a visit from Playa del Carmen - We went to Kuza park as a family of 2 + 2. We went to the waterpark first which the kids enjoyed the slides which were okay (2 were the same so only 3 slides). The all inclusive food was okay but to get french fries and chicken nuggets (and some other dishes) you had to pay extra.. the all inclusive options were also quite cold. We then went to do the zip line but they only go once every hour which we had just missed so we continued down to the beach. The water was so nice but you can only swim out a short way because the jet skis and boats had an area there. There were plenty of sun beds available so we relaxed while the kids dug in the sand and swam.. We went for food at around 3pm and the buffet included was nice but again no international options so we had to pay for french fries again ($8 for a bowl). After food it was 15:50 so I went to take a kayak out but the first sports centre was closed so we were sent to one further down, they said they already had a kayak being used and by the time they got back they would be closed. It was hard to believe they only had 1 kayak allowed out (and there were loads of kayaks on a rack on the beach) so basically everything stops at 4pm. We let the kids play in the water again while the staff started to clean up everything around us. We got the bus back to the waterpark (our bag was there since they charged around $8 (€6) for a locker). They kicked the kids out of the pool at about 4:40 so we went to shower (cold shower only).. just before 5pm we were told we had to leave the park (I was still in the changing room but was ready and left the park on time) - it was so strict with everyone having to be out of the park at 5pm.. I didn’t think the park was worth the price especially when they charge for the nicer food, lockers, towels… We spent €107 for the ferry, €50 return for the taxi to the park and the all inclusive entrance price and regretted it so much. When we got back off the ferry in Playa del Carmen at 7pm so many people were still enjoying the beach and water and we wished we stayed there and spent our €500 on something else ..

Avoid this tourist trap - Avoid KUZÁ Beach. This was one of the most disappointing excursions I’ve experienced. It’s a tourist trap from start to finish. The food options were terrible. Very limited, low quality, and overpriced for what you get. I ordered chicken tacos and asked for cheese. They wanted to charge extra for it, which sums up the whole experience. Getting there from a Disney cruise is a hassle. You have to walk a long distance before even boarding transportation, followed by a 35-minute bus ride each way. It eats up a large chunk of your day for very little payoff. The beach itself looks unappealing and does not live up to expectations or photos. Save your time and money. Staying on the ship would have been a far better experience.
