• Asni - Upon reaching Imlil, embark on a trek either on foot or by camel to Armed, the largest and highest village in the Imlil Valley. Your path will lead you past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Pause in Tamatert to admire the ancient irrigated fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Your guide will highlight fascinating sites and share insights into Berber culture and heritage along the way.
• Tamatert - Descend through the village of Ait Souka, where you’ll meet a Berber family and savor a traditional Moroccan meal as their guest. Next, proceed to Kik Plateau, situated at an altitude of 1,800 meters, offering breathtaking 360-degree views, and in spring, a stunning display of alpine flowers.
• Lalla Takerkoust - Arrive at the shores of Lalla Takerkoust Lake, whose dam provides energy to Marrakesh. Enjoy a tea break while taking in the lake views, or for an adrenaline boost, local arrangements for quad biking or jet skiing can be made.
• Agafay - Conclude your journey with a drive to the Agafay Desert, where you can relish the serenity of the countryside. Traverse the stone desert, barren light brown plateaus, Bedouin villages, oases, and high hills with panoramic views of the High Atlas. If the timing is right, enjoy the sunset views from a high vantage point before returning to Marrakech.
